Charming Aparta Hotel. Simple , but has all modern fittings including air-con,small fitted kitchen, satellite TV. Can seem a bit austere on first arrival if you are used to conventional hotel design.
Ideal for those hot summer days as the rooms are off a central patio area shaded from the sunlight. Most rooms are very quiet even though the hotel is just off the main Alameda de Hercules.
Excellent location for Gay travellers as he hotel is only 5 minute walk from many of the gay bars.

Me and my partner stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in October. I would definately reccomend it, the hotel itself was beatiful. It was about a miles walk into the city center but the walk itself is past shops, resaturants and cafe's. The hotel rooms are more like 1 bedroom apartments and are very spacious with seperate bedroom, bathroom and lounge area. The breakfast was basic continental but nice and the hotel itself is very quiet. Seville as a city is a must do, lovely shops, restaurants and architecture!

Hotel was located a little away from the centre but only took 10 min to walk there.
Good choice of cafe's and tapas bars nearby.
Hotels is actually apartments and was great to have a seperate room for hanging out.. drinking a glass of wine. Only stayed for 1 night so could probably have stayed anywhere... still this was great and added to the experience that is Seville.

we are seniors from UK. Stayed one week Oct 09. All reception staff speak English and are friendly. The apartments have twin beds, bathroom with bath and shower; a kitchen with large fridge, two electric rings but minimum of utensils . Fine for self catering breakfasts and making a snack type meal. Quiet and efficient air con. Long wait for hot water to come into taps. we had ground floor room which meant we could sit on the plant filled patio every evening. There is a tiny sun terrace on third floor. It is a 20 min walk to Cathedral. We found no problem with its northern situation - can walk to all sites except maybe southern end of city. 15 min walk to Plaza Neuva where you can catch new tram to Prado de San Sebastion in southern district. Buses go down next street to hotel - the Almeda de Hercules - a buzzing pedestrainised sqaure. Also, the city's new bicycle hire scheme has a depot in the Almeda. We had a hire car for a week and payed the very expensive rate of E14 per night to garage at the hotel. If you are travelling to the hotel by car - be warned - it is a nightmare to find. You will need a good detailed street map to find it. ( Google map)The area is a mass of narrow one way streets . Tip for car drivers :Directly opposite the Puente de Barqueta bridge, turn into Plaza de la Barqueta. Within 20 meters this bec omes the narrow one way CalleCatatrava.Proceed slowly for 100meters then opposite a blue Hostal sign on left, make a right turn into cobbled Calle Castro, then immediatley left into Calle Jesus which is another narrow one way street. At the bottom on the right hand side is the hotel garage door. Get out and push the red button - reception will open the door automatically. Then- with difficulty - turn into the garage, the ramp down and the garage itself are dangerously narrow. Proceed with caution. If you miss the turn into Castro proceed into the Almeda de Hercules and turn first right into Calle Lumbreras - a nother one way street to the hotel front door. There is no place to park anywhere near the hotel. the maze of one way streets is a great test of patience. Alernatively, phone hotel and ask for directions to nearest underground car parking. In Almeda de Hercules are tiny grocery and bread shops and plenty cafes.

This is an apartment hotel, all the staff are very friendly and helpful (and english speaking). They make you feel welcome. The rooms are spacious and clean with air conditioning (a must for Seville in summer). For the price I would say you can't go wrong. I would recommend this to others. It's in a good spot for sight seeing which you can do on foot. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby.

Nice hotel with a big bed room and living room, nice sized kitchen. Supplied us with a play pen for my daughter which was nice. Across from a plaza but not a lot of nice restaurants near by. You have to take a cab or bus to go to the historic district since it is far to walk (for us it was). Staff was very nice. There is no place to park outside of the hotel, not even to unload your baggage so my husband had to drive around and around while i checked in. Parking was in basement and 13 euros which is not bad but it was very hard to get in the little garage door and it is very dark down there. Overall a nice place to stay.

Stayed at Patio de la Cartuja in early November, and was pleasantly surprised by the size. It is basically a one bedroom apartment with a comfy living room, kitchenette and good sized bathroom, overlooking a pretty courtyard in the middle. (it looks exactly like the pictures!) Situated in a peaceful and quiet location, there are various local eateries offering good food at very reasonable prices. We paid about 50 Eur/nite and consider it great value.

One thing to note though is that the hotel (it's a 2 min walk from Alameda De Hercules) is located in a residential area and further away from the major sights. (Abt 15 mins walk to El Centro, 20 mins to the Cathedral). But as taxis were pretty cheap, we took it quite abit to get around. (e.g. it costs ard 4Eur to get to Avenida de La Constitucion).
