“Lovely little hotel in the heart of the old city centre.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 July 2014

We booked this through Booking.com via Trip adviser and got an excellent rate for the room. The room was spotless ( as was the whole hotel) and the air conditioning was very effective. Fernando on the front desk was very helpful and spoke good English. His advice on where to eat was invaluable. The location was brilliant if you want to see the main tourist attractions of the Cathedral and the Alcazar as it is only about 200 metres from these. A 10 Euro taxi ride gets you from the station. Most of the rooms have no outside windows but open onto a central area - this is normal for such tiny hotels in the built up part of the city. Room 120 does look out onto the busy street with a small balcony. Nice to sit and observe the hubbub in the evenings. Earplugs for this room would help even though modern double glazing is fitted and reduces the noise greatly. Room and bathroom fitting are tastefully chosen. Beds were made daily and fresh towels supplied. A lift is also unusual in this size of hotel. We stayed for 2 days and couldn't think we could have done better for the price.

We stayed at Hotel Goya for a couple of nights during the end of May 2014. The hotel is in a very good location for seeing the sights. It was within walking distance for us from the train station because we were traveling light, but most would probably opt for a cab. The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside but is very clean and decorated very nicely on the inside. The rooms are very clean and look newly decorated but are a bit on the small side and the window of our room opened to an inside corridor, so we couldn't open the shades and expect privacy. We were able to clearly see a sleeping couple in the room next to ours on the day of our arrival. The bathroom and shower were good size and clean and comfortable. We slept soundly and weren't bothered by noise from any other rooms. The cost was a little pricey for what you get, but we were approaching peak tourist season, so I guess it would be expected. All-in-all, we enjoyed the stay and would recommend Hotel Goya.

The hotel was centrally located just a stones throw from restaurants and bars and the alcazar and cathedral. Room was large with decent sized bathroom, both clean with free toiletries. Noise was reduced as we had a none front facing room. Staff were friendly and offered advice on the area etc.

The rooms in this hotel are absolutely tiny and many have interior facing windows. For the price we paid (about $200 per night) we had higher expectations.

Really hated the pillow. For a double bed you are given two pillows joined in one long pillow case. Very annoying if you are sharing a bed with someone. Don't know what they were thinking with that!

On the plus side, the location is very good and it's on a nice street with lots of restaurants. A/C was good and room was clean.

If you don't mind tripping over each other in the room and only care about location, you may not mind this hotel. If it was priced about $80 - $100 I think I might be ok with it. For the extortionate prices they charge though, I won't be staying again.

This Hotel is small but just perfect for a short stay in Seville.
It is located very close to the main attractions and central for bars, tapas & restaurants. It is also quite and very clean. recommended

Room Tip: Take the free city walking tour- well worth it

Stayed at Hotel Goya for 2 nights in April 2014 and found it most accommodating. Although it was a little hard to find at first (our taxi driver said he knew where it was, but really didn't -- so we had to schlep our bags around a bit through small twisty streets to find it), it turned out to be an ideal location for seeing the sights that we wanted to see in Seville -- you step out the door into the old city. It's just a block or two away from the famous Cathedral. Very convenient. The hotel staff was perfect -- helped us out in every way possible. It was a great place to stay and get acclimated to Andalusia. I'd recommend it to others in a heartbeat!

Room Tip: Make sure your taxi driver actually DOES know where the hotel is and make him let you off at the hot...

If you want to see the sights of Seville and be within a stone's throw of the restaurants and bars, look no further. A pleasant hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff; no food served but plenty of places to eat nearby. We had no noise problems, but were in rooms facing an internal atrium.
