“Fantastic Appartment with a great location!”
Reviewed 26 August 2013

We stayed here for one night to discover Seville. We went to the office and were taken to the apartment so we knew exactly where it was.. It was in a great location just 5 mins walk from the Cathedral. The appt itself was very clean and well equipped (the tv didn't work but we didn't need to use it). If we ever go to Seville again we will definitely book it up again!

We stayed in the Apartments for a week in April 2013.
The directions provided by 171Steve are spot on. Another tell tale sign you are in the right street is the strong smell of urine once you enter the small passageway Siete Revueltas. Sevillans love dogs in all sizes (us too) but unfortunately the pets also urinate all over the city. This street seems to be their favorite... Pro: the street is cleaned vigorously everyday with bleach, con: the urine smell is also "refreshed" everyday by the local territory markers.

Pro: If you call the concierge when you leave from the airport he will meet you at the apartment.
Con: we didn't know this, so we called when we arrived so we had to wait a bit.
Pro: The concierge was at the apartment within ten minutes.

Pro: We stayed in the New York apartment: a lovely one bedroom apartment on the second floor, with separate living area, kitchen, large bathroom, lots of closet space. Very nicely decorated, quiet street, slept like a log!
Pro: High ceilings. Makes the rooms spacious and keeps the rooms cooler
Pro: Air conditioning for the warm days and heating for the cooler evenings
Pro: From the bedroom as well as the living area you have access to a spacious balcony with in total three (!) double doors.
Pro: On the balcony a garden table and four chairs for enjoying the sun or having breakfast on the terrace, a good size parasol if you need shade and access to the roof where there are sun beds.
Pro: Sun in the afternoon and well into the evening on the roof this April.
Con: View of the street, but since you are smack in the middle of everything within five walking minutes who cares?

We like to eat our breakfast 'at home' and love shopping in local supermarkets for local breakfast items. There is a small supermarket within five minutes walking, Supermercado MAS.
We had big, sweet strawberries everyday for breakfast and freshly baked bread.

Kitchen:
Pro: dishwasher, washing machine, coffeemaker, micro wave, oven, two cooking plates, fridge, toaster. Modern stainless steel look appliances.
Con: dishes only for four people, only one dish washing tablet for an entire week, three frying pans (who needs three frying pans with only two cooking plates? Part of the Ikea starting kit I guess), no kettle for tea, only one pan for boiling water or eggs.
So you need to do the dishes everyday for clean glasses, plates... Or decide to only eat and drink out.

Pro: you have a washing machine
Con: there is no place to hang your wash. No clothes line or rack. Not anywhere in the apartment or outside on the balcony. Which makes the washing machine kind of ridiculous.

Bed linen, towels and cleaning
Pro: you get clean linen and towels when you arrive.
Con: Bed linen and towel change is not included in the rental price. If you want clean bed linen, towels and a cleaned apartment you need to pay 20 euros per day extra. The concierge did not inform us about it, we found out when we read the sign on the door.
So in our case (7 day stay) we would have had to pay about 120 Euros extra for daily cleaning and changing of towels/linen. You kind of like to know these things in advance. I know it would have been the easier choice to just pay, but it sort of irritated us that we needed to pay extra. So we didn't.

Pro: you can wash your towels in the washing machine. The Supermercado sells small rolls of detergent tablets for a about two Euros with which you can do three loads easily and it even smells nice.
Con: you still have no place to hang your wash! We had to be inventive and use the kitchen chairs, the radiator in the bathroom and the hangers from the closet. Good thing it was sunny that week ;-)

Cleaning
Con: there is only a dustpan and brush for cleaning. And an old sponge. A dustpan and brush! You are kind of forced to pay extra for cleaning this way. We wouldn't have mind sweeping the floor or vacuuming, but who cleans an entire apartment with a dustpan and brush? That is just silly... If you open the doors and windows it does get dusty in the apartment after a few days. But the dustpan and brush just added to our resolve not to pay extra...

Bathroom:
Pro: Spacious, nicely decorated, design radiator
Con: not enough room to put your toiletry bags but we see that in almost every hotel or apartment bathroom. Was not a big deal for us.
Pro: all our toiletry bags fit perfectly in the closet drawers in the bedroom. The small closet had a big changing mirror on the right side.
Hairdryer and ironing board in the closet. Extra pillows and blankets too. No safe, so take your valuables with you.

Overall we enjoyed our stay in the apartment very much, the minors were really minor and were forgotten as soon as we were outside in the city. Sevilla is a new favorite of us now, we absolutely loved the city and its people. The smell of jasmine all over the town is just something I will never forget and it definitely makes up for the urine stained Siete Revueltas street :-)

The location is excellent, you are in the middle of almost every sight in the area. The location felt safe, lots of people are out and about well into the night. We had a flight back at 06.30 am so we left for the airport around 04.30 am. We found a taxi at Plaza de la Encarnacion immediately (it is a taxi parking area) and since it was the middle of the night we were at the airport within 15 minutes.

We stayed in these apartments for 3 days. The apartments are in the old town where there are pedestrian only streets. There is no reception at the apartments so we were given instructions to ring the office on arrival to receive directions. by following the directions we were able to find the apartments easily and we were met at the apartments by a member of staff named Angela. Angela proved to be an angel by name and by nature during our stay. Se was warm, welcoming and friendly and she really went out of her way to help us by getting tickets for us and even helping us out when our card was swallowed by an ATM machine.
The apartments are very conveniently located and within walking distance of all major attractions as well as shopping areas, bars and restaurants.
The apartments have a secure door to the street and inside there is a central courtyard with apartments around it. We had everything we needed during our stay including a washing machine.

Located in the centre of the city, it is in easy walking distance of everything. It is located in a narrow pedestrian street without any bar/shop so it is perfectly quiet. Well equiped and clean appartments.
Some downsides: no towel to do the dishes, not enough toiletpaper and shower gel.
Communication problem with the employees: whatever you arrange with one, isn't communicated to the other, so you often get the same mail ffrom different people etc ...

Room Tip: Room Madrid was located away from the street side and had no 'neighbours'.

These apartments are in a great location, with great prices and a great design. Very boutique hotel style and although it's in the centre of the city, the street is very quiet. The directions left by 171Steve are very useful. I will definitely stay here again!

Having read reviews about how hard these are to find, I will write here how to find these apartments with ease. This is for people arriving in Seville by train or bus, BUT NOT by car.
Once you arrive in Seville get a taxi to the Antiquarium at Plaza de la Encantation.
The rest of the way is a short walk.
With your back to the entrance of the Antiquarium, walk forwards - you are in a square with stalls and cafes/restaurants. At the other side of the square there is a cafe/restaurant called "Spala 2". At the immediate right side of this restaurant there is a passageway called Puente y Pellon. It is a narrow passageway with shops on both sides

Walk down this passageway about 100 metres. On the right you will see the shop C & A Kids store. On the left a shop called "Lefties". There is a small street to the left at Lefties. So take this . I.e. go left at Lefties.. About 40 metres along you will see a gym on the left called Mister Fitness. Opposite this is the small passageway Siete Revueltas. Walk down this a short way, following curve as it goes right then left. The apartments are just there on the left hand side.at number 5 Siete Revueltas.

The number 32 bus operates from the Santa Justa rail station to the Antiquarium. If you take this bus, make sure you get on the bus that goes in the direction of Plaza del Duque, and not the other way. If you go past the Antiquarium, it is only a short walk back (about 150 metres) from the bus terminus at PLaza del Duque to the Antiquarium.

The Antiquarium are Roman ruins, which are underneath a very strange looking yellow structure - which is huge - you can not miss the huge yellow structure. You can pay 1.35 euros to go up to the top of this odd shaped structure, to get fantastic views over the city...very well worth doing.

You can visit the Antiquarium Roman ruins for free IF you visit the Alcazar. The cost of the Alcazar is 8.50 euros which is very good, and then you can visit the Antiquarium for free with your Alcazar ticket. The Antiquarium closes at 5pm.
Allow many hours to see the huge gardens and buildings of the Alcazar. We were there 4 hours plus 45 minutes queue time to get in...but absolutely well worth it. The Cathedral of Seville is also next to the Alcazar, and is 8 euros to go in - but be careful as it is often closed for services and feast days and inaugarations and all manner of things. It is not opened before 11am. If you want to see the Cathedral plan a visit early in your visit to Seville. If it is closed for one of the reasons I mentioned, then you can pick another time during your stay. Do not go on your last afternoon, and then find it is closed.
I hope all this will help you, especially for those of you worried about finding the accommodation. Good luck and have a fantastic time in this beautiful city.

Room Tip: Ground floor apartment Casa Blanca has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One double bedroom, one with twin...

In Barcelona we had a nice appartment with a balcony looking over the narrow streets near La Rambla where we could buy fresh food from La Boqueria and have breakfast, lunch or dinner while Barcelona was passing by,
So I've been looking for such a thing in Sevilla with balcony in the center.
The location is great, you fall out of bed right into the shops, squares, bars and just 2 steps away from the big shopping streets and a supermarket and fresh food market.
The Sta Cruz area is also a few minutes away and so is La Macarena with tapasbars like El Rinconcillo.
It has a kitchen with everything provided; dishwasher, washing machine, oven, coffee machine, pots and pans, fridge.
The only thing is that there is not so much amount of cutlery and glasses (just 4 each) and no proper bread knife.
The interior is new and modern and you won't need to bring your own towels or sheets.
It has a patio inside the building with tables and nice tiles.
There is a modern tv where you can turn your laptop on and there is wifi.

There is not a real reception so you make a phonecall when you arrive and someone will give you the keys and explanaition.
There is a sort of 'hotline' with the office with the landline phone inside if you need anything.

We had the attic appartment with balcony and roof terrace and it had chairs and a table and parasol. The only thing is that there is not so much to see on the balcony (surrounded by walls and other houses) so we did not eat there as we planned, but the bars and restaurants are half the price of Barcelona, if not cheaper, and there are many of them so we went out for dinner every day.

There is only one thing I'd like to mention. For most of the people completely irrelevant.
Usually because of the thick walls the houses inside are cooler, but this was the attic and it gets hot.
The airco inside is very well working.
But the airco made me ill for 1.5 days (my partner used it a bit too enthousiastic in 40 degrees) and when you turn it off it gets really hot, especially after midday and there is no fan.
We slept with the windows open but the neigbour sometimes likes to paint or whatever with loud music and turns on the radio or opera music at 9 a.m. till lunch.

So, over all; the balcony was not as I expected, but also not needed in Sevilla with so many cheap bars. The appartment over all was good and the location excellent.
Ow and the beds were really hard! They gave me a pain in the back.

Room Tip: We had the attic with roof terrace and balcony.
