Seville is a ancient dense city with many narrow streets, especially in the centre so new build hotel developments are few.
So most hotels are cobbled together from houses sometimes with courtyards, Albenico is no different, in fact it's so close to the road you actually step out of the cab into the hotel door in one step, its that close. A tad precarious when leaving to got sightseeing.
The staff are warm, friendly and very informative. The reception is part of the covered brightly coloured and tiled courtyard that typifies Seville decor.
The rooms are a tad higgledy piggledy but that's part of the attraction of Seville, its architecture and street layouts. Rooms are clean, ours had 2 showers, which would have sacrificed one for extra hanging space. The walls are a tad thin, your neighbour is easily audible and shower water and flushings are a feature of these close knit room configurations.
An iron would have been helpful to remove those shirt creases from the suitcase.
Plenty of hot water and adequate toiletries as complimentary.
Breakfast is basic but a wide enough selection to accommodate most tastes.
All in all for the centre of town, us being out most of the day sightseeing and the cheapness it was fine.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms at the back away from the front street. Also away from the courtyard reception as you...

A very welcoming traditional style hotel, rooms were very spacious, ours had a small balcony looking out onto the street. Hotel staff were so helpful. Very good location, 10 minute walk to the cathedral, minutes walk to a delicious bakery for breakfast or traditional bar for wine and tapas. Breakfast not included, but the hotel offers free coffee throughout the day in its large open inner courtyard - excellent Wi-Fi while your enjoying the coffee!

My friends and I were looking for an affordable option for our trip to Sevilla! First of all the staff was great. They have a great sense of customer service, very friendly and ready to assit you. They will provide you information that is helpful for you in a proactive fashion. When we got to the hotel we received a map with information about what to visit, the route to take, restaurant recommendations, etc.
The room was great, very clean and comfortaable! The bathrrom was SPOTLESS, they made us feel so comfortable The hotel is beautiful as it has the Spanish villa style. Pretty!
Breakfast was amazing and overall all the staff was great!! Finally, the location was perfect. We could walk to all the landmarks without any problems.
This is a great option, so go ahead and book this hotel and if you are there ask for Paco, he is fantastic and very helfpul! 5 Stars hotels would like to have a Paca as part of their staff
Ah, and if you go to visit the Alcazar, look for Manolo the guide tour, he is great too!

The hotel was done up in a typical Spanish villa style, which I enjoyed. It was great that despite this, it had a lift for days that you do not wish to climb the stairs.

Everything was beautifully clean and the air condition worked great. The rooms were spacious and well kept and WIFI worked great. The toilets were spacious and airy and came with shampoo and bath gel. There was a safe in the room as well. Bedding was clean and comfortable and the towels were provided.

The front desk is more than willing to help, although some of the staff may not have very strong English. Coffee, tea and snacks were provided after breakfast until 11 p.m. This was one of the few hotels were I felt welcome to sit around in the lobby.

If there is one drawback to this hotel, it is that the main door opens to a very busy street, which may cause problems when travelling with children or elderly as the sidewalks are so narrow as to be practically non-existant. However, the location of the hotel was within walking distance to the Cathedral and to a major road where you can get a bus to go farther if you wish.

This hotel was very good, well located and reasonably priced. It is on a busy and very narrow street in the old city and rather hazardous getting in and out with young children, but this meant that we were a short walk from all the main sights. It is actually only a few doors away from the Casa de Pilatos which is well worth a visit. The décor of the hotel and central atrium have a certain charm, but this is not the kind of place where you come to hang around the hotel. Our family room was comfortable, compact but not cramped, and had a modern bathroom (shower, no bath). None of the free wifi connections reached as far as our room, however, so we had to sit in the communal areas to use the internet. The breakfast buffet is cheap (if you opt in at the beginning of your stay) and offered plenty of choice, though not exactly gourmet dining. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is no parking and the only nearby car parks cost over 20 Euros per day, so factor this into your budget if you are travelling by car. We were looking for a good value hotel in the old city of Seville with a family room for four and that is exactly what we got. Very good without being exceptional.

Room Tip: Family room for four was perfect for sharing with young kids

We enjoyed three nights in a triple room with our 12 year old grandson in June.
The interior is authentic Spanish villa and kept clean and neat. Maria at the reception is very helpful. The self serve coffee bar, which is always open includes chicken soup ,which was a nice snack for our grandson. Husband liked the orange wine. Breakfast was quite nice.

Stayed here three nights and certainly enjoyed every bit. The hotel is located in the centre of old Seville with narrow streets where one can get lost, it's an old building converted into a hotel and we loved the courtyard adjacent to the check in area. The staff speaks excellent English and is friendly and efficient. We had a family room which was large...yes the view is not great from the windows but being in the old town with buildings close by, you have to expect this. Rooms are clean and comfortable with free wifi. The breakfast has good choice for the price, the hotel itself is decently priced. Many nice places for tapas, sangria...are close by and one can soak in the charm of Andalucia by staying here. Located on a narrow street and yet getting a taxi to airport is no problem as the side lane adjacent to hotel is wide enough. Oh yes! They have coffee and tea available throughout the day for the guests...also some local wine..didn't like the wine though...
