we really enjoyed número 7
We really liked the staff who were very helpful, Victoria NEVER says that beds are particularly comfortable but she did at 7 and we both slept really well (being in a very Quiet street was good too!
V good breakfast just as I like it and excellent free WiFi!
We could not have asked for more!
Excellent large bathroom with 2 basins
The parking arrangement was excellent in a city where a car can be a real burden

This trip to Spain was our first abroad and our stop in Seville was the first of 10 nights in the region.

The service from the front desk and the butler, Guillermo, was incredible and I'm still in awe of the simple beauty and luxury of the hotel.

A private breakfast in the dining room was the perfect start to each day and the common rooms in the hotel were beautiful and historic. Be sure to ask the butler for a glass of sherry from the owner's vineyard- it's worth the minimal extra cost.

One of my favorite parts? The view of the cathedral steeple from the window in the shower- random, I know, but it was incredible. We stayed in the sole room on the top floor. It was exquisite.

Booking a room here is ensuring a first class experience you will NOT regret. Absolutely loved every minute and wish I could have stayed longer.

Don't meekly accept the negative reviews of "don't stay here", but make up your own mind. It depends what you are looking for. This is not a hotel, it's a boutique B&B. No concierge, no gym, no restaurant, no car park, no room service, no TV or radio, no fridge (but we did have a safe) - and we loved it. As others have said it is a beautifully restored town house in a handy position. You can walk to most places (though the station would be a bit of a trek).

It was quiet, discreet, stylish and our room (yellow) was large and well decorated, with an equally large bathroom and dressing room. Bed was comfortable, chairs ditto. OK a bathrobe would have been nice.

Yes the staff don't speak much English (surprisingly true of a lot of locals in the region) but so what? They were shy but charming and we got by. We spent four nights here, using one day to take the fast train up to Cordoba (less than 45 minutes) to visit the Mesquita, and the staff were happy when asked to cook us breakfast early, as normally it is not available until 9a.m.

We would be very happy to return.

This beautifully restored town house in the middle of the Jewish quarter was a perfect base for our two day trip to Seville. The property is charming, with only a handful of comfortable and spacious rooms. The style is simple and traditional, which creates an extraordinary tranquillity, away from the busy streets of central Seville. All the major sites and numerous eateries are within walking distance and getting lost within the tight street network is part of the experience!

The owner, Isabel, spoke fairly good English and was able to guide us to a couple of very good Tapas bars and restaurants, as well as a superb flamenco exhibition. She was also hugely helpful in assisting us to retrieve our camera which we left on the plane on the way out.

Regarding some of the negative comments below - Casa no.7 is not trying to be a 4* hotel with mini bars and room service, it is a delightfully simple and meticulously restored 19th century townhouse, which we are all fortunate enough to have found and stayed in. There is a Marriott near the airport for 'drose1' and friends......

We stayed four nights in early November. It was a glimpse into another era. Casa No 7 is a lovingly restored old townhouse. I read one of the '1 star' reviews, which complained that the room had no fridge, but I think a fridge would have spoilt the ambience/tasteful decor of the room and likely would have been noisy. Do not expect a typical hotel, but we found it a delightful, relaxing experience and we also had probably the best nights sleep ever - the bed was fantastic!'

Four very comfortable nights in early October in the “yellow” room of this former private home, complete with its large, walk-in dressing room and equally sizable bathroom. Breakfast in the dining room each morning was gracious and made-to order. Isabel was very helpful in booking taxis and dinner reservations. Terrific location, within easy walk to local neighborhoods and “tourist attractions”. An elegant, gracious find that felt like staying with well heeled friends.

We were delighted with the hotel, its position and peaceful charm. Other than breakfast no meals are provided, this is not a problem as there is plenty of choice close by.

It seems that Trip Advisor require a minimum of 200 characters so I will continue. The important sights are close if you are prepared to walk but be warned that a map is essential as the historic center is a maze of small lanes and alleys. The hotel is very well positioned for most places you will want to see. Whilst the hotel is small it does have a roof terrace and library.
