Considering the cost, this place was ideal for our 2 days in Seville. The hotel staff were all helpful and polite and gave us some nice recommendations on where to eat and what to do. Location was perfect and we easily navigated ourselves around the city.

Word of warning to people arriving by car! This place isn't easy to find as it's on a pedestrain street.

We had a phenomenal stay at this location. The hotel was very clean and had all the ammenities we needed (including very comfortable beds!). The hotel staff was incredibly helpful with directions and other recommendations. The hotel is situated in a truly authentic neighborhood among the small narrow streets, that are a hallmark to Seville.

As an aside, there is an award winning Flamenco show that runs every night right next door and is certainly worth your time!

The hotel is incredibly secure and all front desk staff were very helpful!

Hotel was borderline a poor rating. Staff and the common area saved the reviews.
Our room was teeny even by European standards. You basically jumped in your bed and the teeny window looked into the inside area with all the air conditioning.
There was a range of rooms our travel companions had. One couple had a huge room that would have held 4 comfortably. Several other friends had such a bad smell from gases from the toilet they had to eventually move them.
Location though convenient was touristy with flamenco shows and touristy shops.

The hotel is located in the very heart of the historical Seville, walking distance to all major tourist attractions. The rooms are clean, spacious, light and comfortable. The stuff is very lovely, friendly and professional. There is free WIFI which works perfectly well. If necessary the hotel can provide irons, extra hair dryers etc, all quick and free. I would say this is a kind of '5 star' 2 star hotel! ;) Would definitely stay there again with pleasure. Good memories only!

I returned to the Alcántara in May for my annual visit and, as always, I was made really welcome by the very friendly and helpful staff. The standard was as high as ever. It's also great to see that the Alcántara's flamenco show in the Casa de Flamenco situated at the entrance to the hotel, is doing really well with full houses every night enjoying top quality authentic flamenco in a beautiful setting. I'm already looking forward to next year's visit.

This hotel is basic enough, but the rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. It is excellent value, and has a great location. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations and directions. Buffet breakfast is extra, and at €6 maybe a little expensive but okay.

I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel to others.

Great value and good service in this historic, well-located, hotel. Good breakfast that was included in my rate thanks to a Trip Advisor promotion. The Free Feel the City walking tour picks you up at about 10:05-10:10 every morning (you tip at the end of the tour, but it is officially free). Most impressive was when I reported that the bulb in my reading light had blown out, 20 euros was automatically deducted from my overall bill. This was without me complaining or anything. I brought the blown bulb to the concierge and reported it, he wrote it down and I left for the day. When I returned, the bulb had not been replaced and the concierge explained that the person who does that kind of work hadn't come in yet. He went to the back and got a bulb, gave it to me and I brought it to my room and replaced it myself; I'm not above such things, but it occurred to me that if the concierge could locate a bulb so quickly, why not just run up to the room whilst I was out and replace it. Anyway, he wrote that there was a problem and the manager, upon reading it, deducted 20 euros from my overall bill. I was satisfied with that resolution.

Room Tip: Something on the fourth floor
