“Fantastic view and perfect location”
Reviewed 29 October 2013

I selected this Hotel because of the reviews. 8.5 out of 10 from over 2000 reviews - not bad.
It did not disappoint. We drove from the Malaga coast to Seville on a Sunday, roads very quiet and the Hotel was easy to find having followed my directions from route planner. We parked our car in the underground car park of the hotel at a cost of 19 euros a day (this is about the average cost for Hotel private parking). We checked in to our Junior Suite which was ready earlier than expected. It was on the 11th floor and was fantastic. Great views over the city, spacious lounge area, bathroom and separate toilet. Large bedroom and two TV's! It was immaculately clean and extremely quiet. We paid 208 euros for 2 people for 2 nights with breakfast and it was well worth the money. Just a short walk from the Hotel and your at the Tram and Bus station, with links into the centre of Seville every 10 minutes. A short 20 minute walk will get you to the Plaza Espana, which is a 'must do'. We purchased tickets for the Red City Tour Bus from the Hotel reception and this cost 17 euros for a 2 day hop on, hop off pass. If you purchase it at the bus stop its the same price for a 1 day pass, so ask at your hotel reception for offers!. if your only staying for a day or two its well worth it to see all the major attractions. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of choices, cereals, breads, eggs, bacon, cheese, fresh salmon, pastries etc and was served between 7.30 and 10.30am. The only problem we had was that we could not get free wi-fi on the 11th floor but fine in reception. Plan your route carefully out of the city, we left around midday on a Tuesday and it was scary to say the least, lots of no entries and one way systems, so be prepared!

Room Tip: Check out the prices for a Junior Suite - a real treat but to be honest for the amount of time spent...

The hotel was pleasant, well situated in the city and the breakfast buffet was fine but we sat in front of the registration desk to have even a semblance of internet access. And then it would log on and off. The clerks did not seem to care it was so bad. But curiously the part of the hotel chain in Valencia has excellent WiFi which is from where I am writing this review......

The location is quiet OK. 10 minutes of the HST train station, 10 minutes walking from touristic center as you would find Plaza España and the Juderia ( Barrio Santa Cruz ). To go shopping is a 20 minutes walk and when you are full loaded with your shopping bags a taxi is a 7 Euro trip to the hotel. So, very cheap.
The staff is very friendly. We had a Junior Suite with a salon and sleeping room. All OK, the typical business hotel, so not a boutique hotel. You get the 4 star hotel. TV in sleeping and salon room. WiFi, we didn't had any problem. With a full stay WiFi code the devices connect from the moment you enter in the hotel. We didn't had any problem in this issue.
The breakfast is just a 4 star. All the stuff is there, but not more. It is a buffet of a very big hotel, so don't expect the boutique hotel attention. It was OK, except the sweet croissants and other sweet, which didn't seem to fresh. But, I repeat, the 4 star treatment.
The location, one word more. In Sevilla you can have a hotel right in the center, but that is uncomfortable due to the noise during day and night and to get there is quiet difficult due to the car free middle age streets.

Just back from a 3 day stay here, have some good and some bad.

The Good
The staff, the guy at reception was so helpful and very friendly providing me with maps and tips of sights.
Location is good only a 10min walk from the train station and few mins from main bus station

The Bad
WiFi is woeful, needs investment
The TV and minibar are encased in a cabinet that takes up too much room, you have open the cabinet and pull out the tv which is annoying if you have to walk by it.
Room is a bit on the dark side, the room is only lit by four lamps with dull bulbs and the carpet is a dark red which gave the room a dark feeling.
There needs to be more variety at breakfast.

I'd be reluctant to stay here again given the the above

This hotel is fairly close to the centre, but still a 30 min walk or 10 mins tram ride. The first room we were allocated was tiny, but they changed to a bigger one on request.
Nevertheless a decent hotel with nice size bathroom and reasonable beds, as well as proximity to public transport. The big plus is the terrace with pool, which was a godsend during the scorching Seville afternoons.
The free Wi-Fi only works sporadically.

Room Tip: Avoid room 301.

A good hotel but not as the name implies in the city centre, but rather a 20 minute walk to most attractions. This did not worry us because it is by walking that we discover new attractions, bars, restaurants etc. In fact if you cross the road from the hotel and explore the streets to the right of the supermarket you will find some terrific restaurants charging very reasonable prices and serving excellent food. If shopping is your thing the main precinct is about 15 minutes walk from the hotel and has a huge array of shopping. Our room was large, clean and well appointed and breakfast was good.

The hotel looked great as we arrived, the lobby & public areas all look very nice but we were disappointed with our room.
We were in room 312 and the only mirror in the room is in the bathroom above the sink....... The ventilation system in the bathroom was almost non-existent & the bath was leaking.
The bed was rock-hard & uncomfortable.
The room was noisy. Both my husband & I got up in the night to check we had closed the windows. We could hear everything outside, from the traffic, entrance to the underground car park next door to passers-by talking.
Everything in the room had a bit of a worn shabby feel to it although it did look clean.
Don't be fooled by the photo's of the fitness area. There are 5 machines in front of a large mirror tucked away in a poky corner in the basement which smelt damp & unpleasant.
The best bit about this hotel was the view from the outdoor pool (on the 3rd floor) across the city. It was a 5 minute walk to the bus/metro station, 10-15 minutes into town/the park etc. We paid about 5 euro for a taxi back to the hotel on Saturday night.
