“Nice Hotel”
Reviewed 3 December 2013

I stayed here with friend for one night based on location. It was close to a friend's house. Not too close to the centre but Seville is a relatively small city so not too difficult to get to the actual centre by tram. Comfortable hotel. Fitness area open until 11pm. So at end of day was able to use the jacuzzi. However the pool was closed and the turkish sauna was not working. By now I'm used to turkish baths being "out of order". I now just assume it's that the cost-saving hotels just don't want to operate their amenities in low season. It's pretty poor and shows they don't really have the customers' comfort as a high priority. Otherwise the room was very well appointed and service was as I would expect, courteous and helpful. The bar in the lobby served a continental breakfast that was very good. Coffee and croissants and churro.

Location is a little bit outside the main attractions. There is no major sites or shopping near by.
The room is comfortable and clean. However in room wifi is sporadic. This is the second hotel I stayed in Spain for a one week holiday, I wonder why the hotels do not provide Kleenex or in room coffee maker which are the US hotels standards.

I arrived to the hotel on spec. I parked the car in the heart of the city, and walked until I found a hotel completely on spec. It strikes you as a four star business hotel. You have to park your plant downstairs in their underground car park. The parking penalty is €18 per day but you can add it to your bill and pay when you leave. I stayed for two nights which worked out ~ €60 per night, no desayuno included. Breakfast is not a major event in Andalucía. I guess the natives eat late in the evening, and they rise early. This is obviously a wise tactic for avoiding the heat during the day. They take a siesta in the afternoons. My Irish natives have no issues with heat. The recommended option is to lorry as much desayuno as you can into your boiler so you can keep your self-energised for the weather. All in all this hotel deserves its 4 stars. The Wifi worked fine in my room on the 11th floor and you could hose an Arizona prison with the power from the shower in the room. Hotel is a €8 taxi ride from downtown bar restaurant district, its right next to the light railway, and as I said earlier it’s a 15min stroll from all the major attractions.

I selected this Hotel because of the reviews. 8.5 out of 10 from over 2000 reviews - not bad.
It did not disappoint. We drove from the Malaga coast to Seville on a Sunday, roads very quiet and the Hotel was easy to find having followed my directions from route planner. We parked our car in the underground car park of the hotel at a cost of 19 euros a day (this is about the average cost for Hotel private parking). We checked in to our Junior Suite which was ready earlier than expected. It was on the 11th floor and was fantastic. Great views over the city, spacious lounge area, bathroom and separate toilet. Large bedroom and two TV's! It was immaculately clean and extremely quiet. We paid 208 euros for 2 people for 2 nights with breakfast and it was well worth the money. Just a short walk from the Hotel and your at the Tram and Bus station, with links into the centre of Seville every 10 minutes. A short 20 minute walk will get you to the Plaza Espana, which is a 'must do'. We purchased tickets for the Red City Tour Bus from the Hotel reception and this cost 17 euros for a 2 day hop on, hop off pass. If you purchase it at the bus stop its the same price for a 1 day pass, so ask at your hotel reception for offers!. if your only staying for a day or two its well worth it to see all the major attractions. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of choices, cereals, breads, eggs, bacon, cheese, fresh salmon, pastries etc and was served between 7.30 and 10.30am. The only problem we had was that we could not get free wi-fi on the 11th floor but fine in reception. Plan your route carefully out of the city, we left around midday on a Tuesday and it was scary to say the least, lots of no entries and one way systems, so be prepared!

Room Tip: Check out the prices for a Junior Suite - a real treat but to be honest for the amount of time spent...

The hotel was pleasant, well situated in the city and the breakfast buffet was fine but we sat in front of the registration desk to have even a semblance of internet access. And then it would log on and off. The clerks did not seem to care it was so bad. But curiously the part of the hotel chain in Valencia has excellent WiFi which is from where I am writing this review......

The location is quiet OK. 10 minutes of the HST train station, 10 minutes walking from touristic center as you would find Plaza España and the Juderia ( Barrio Santa Cruz ). To go shopping is a 20 minutes walk and when you are full loaded with your shopping bags a taxi is a 7 Euro trip to the hotel. So, very cheap.
The staff is very friendly. We had a Junior Suite with a salon and sleeping room. All OK, the typical business hotel, so not a boutique hotel. You get the 4 star hotel. TV in sleeping and salon room. WiFi, we didn't had any problem. With a full stay WiFi code the devices connect from the moment you enter in the hotel. We didn't had any problem in this issue.
The breakfast is just a 4 star. All the stuff is there, but not more. It is a buffet of a very big hotel, so don't expect the boutique hotel attention. It was OK, except the sweet croissants and other sweet, which didn't seem to fresh. But, I repeat, the 4 star treatment.
The location, one word more. In Sevilla you can have a hotel right in the center, but that is uncomfortable due to the noise during day and night and to get there is quiet difficult due to the car free middle age streets.

Just back from a 3 day stay here, have some good and some bad.

The Good
The staff, the guy at reception was so helpful and very friendly providing me with maps and tips of sights.
Location is good only a 10min walk from the train station and few mins from main bus station

The Bad
WiFi is woeful, needs investment
The TV and minibar are encased in a cabinet that takes up too much room, you have open the cabinet and pull out the tv which is annoying if you have to walk by it.
Room is a bit on the dark side, the room is only lit by four lamps with dull bulbs and the carpet is a dark red which gave the room a dark feeling.
There needs to be more variety at breakfast.

I'd be reluctant to stay here again given the the above
