As other reviewers have mentioned - this hotel is not in the centre of Seville as the name may imply.
We travelled by train from Malaga to Seville and it is a 15 minute walk straight down one of the main roads from Seville's train station. Down this road, there are several restaurants and cafes (we stopped at one cafe 'Miquels' - for brunch before getting the train back to Malaga, and it was incredibly cheap and food was fine).
The hotel is right next to the Jardin de la Buhaira which is pretty but it is not near the centre of Seville. However, it is just a 2 minute walk to the San Bernardo tram stop which costs 1,40 Euros one way into the centre of Seville. The ride is less than 10 minutes so not much of an inconvenience. If you want to go to the Plaza de Espana, Catedral or Alcazar, I would recommend getting off the stop before Plaza Nueva. There are plenty of cafes at this stop and it is a really pleasant walk into the windy streets of the centre of Seville. We had breakfast at Horno San Buenaventura - read lots of recommendations about this place. Service was slow and lacking, and the food was average but we only had breakfast there. The cakes looked delicious but too much for me to eat so early on in the day!
We were quite lucky with the Catedral - they had a service there in the morning so we went in to part of it for free, and although they roped off the part where Christopher Columbus is buried, we could still take pictures of it easily. As we went to visit the Catedral again after the Alcazar, the queue was never-ending and we had pretty much seen most of it for free and without a queue so were happy to head somewhere else.
We stayed in a standard room - I requested a pretty view and a double bed. We were given two singles pushed together which is no big deal. The view was of the Jardin de la Buhaira and surroundings which did give a lovely view. The room was very clean and the bathroom was a good size too. The towels were soft and plush.
We didn't eat at the hotel and we didn't try any of the other facilities but we saw did head up to the pool which was an average sized pool for a city hotel. The receptionists were helpful and we were not disappointed with our stay at Sevilla Center.
