My wife and I stayed here in June and loved it. Ideally located near the Cathedral and restaurants. Staff look after you well on the front desk and speak English well (thankfully ;-)) We had a Junior Suite which was a fantastic size and maintained an authentic feel of the type of property. Would definately recommend Weather was hot hot hot in June

Room Tip: Junior Suite was a great size

Hotel Amadeus is short blocks from Seville's main attractions , tapas bars and restaurants. The decor fits the hotel name with old instruments on display and a piano in our large room. Terrific courtyards and roof top bar. Very comfortable stay. Very large clean bathroom with two sinks and a whirlpool. Highly recommended

Seville is well worth a visit and staying in this lovely hotel in the old town added to the experience. Hotel has several small communal areas which are beautifully furnished all with complimentary sherry laid out. The rooftop bar is a lovely place to have a drink at dusk - breakfast on one of the rooftop terraces is a must - beautifully served and reasonable price.[the annexe has its own rooftop terrace] Staff are extremely helpful and efficient. Everything has been done with a view to making guests' stay the best possible experience. Hotel is in a very good location in the lovely old town and once you get there everything is walkable with restaurants all around. Getting there if you come by car is the only downside - streets are one way and very narrow and even with satnav we had problems - hotel e-mailed directions which helped us find the nearby parking - do not attempt to drop off the luggage - not possible without getting lynched. However it was well worth the nightmare to find it!

Room Tip: We had the standard room and were in the annexe which was absolutely fine - just next to the hotel...

We stayed here for two nights while on a Rick Steves tour. When our group of 28 arrived en masse, the owner or manager was waiting to greet us with our choice of iced tea or orange wine, served in the small lobby. The entire hotel is decorated with a musical theme, with various instruments, sheet music, paintings and books. Our room on the second floor was spacious, with a king-size bed with sparkling clean sheets and duvet. The bathroom was worthy of a spa, with tub and shower, and included fluffy white robes. There was some street noise, but this is to be expected when staying in the heart of a city, particularly in Spain, where people like to stay up late and are outdoors in the evening. We had breakfast served on the roof terrace, with a view of the cathedral tower. Breakfast included several kinds of breads, cheese, ham, juice, fruit, and coffee or tea. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others looking for a hotel with character and comfort in central Sevilla.

We're a 60's-something Canadian couple who stayed 5 nights at the very charming Amadeus through referrals from Rick Steves as well as our children who'd stayed 3 years previously. We highly recommend for very friendly, professional and prompt service, extreme cleanliness, a lovely and spacious room and a great location. Our room 209 was completely quiet. We did not take advantage of the hotel's breakfast as for the same cost we ate a more typical full North American style breakfast offsite, around the corner, as recommended by Rick Steves. We didn't take our swimsuits so had to forgo a dip in the whirlpool but did enjoy the view of the lit buildings while sitting out on the terrace after dark.

What a lovely hotel, hidden away in the cobbled streets and so close to all the sights, bars and restaurants. Very helpful staff and I loved the free sherry and iced tea left out for guests in the lounges - what a great idea after a hard days sight seeing.

We spent two nights here, beautiful comfortable room. The service was excellent. The front desk staff was very helpful with travel and restaurant tips. Breakfast on the terrace was a nice treat. Very convenient location as well. Easy walk to most sights. The beds were comfortable and the cold tub on the terrace was nice after a hot day walking Seville. Close to some excellent restaurants also.
