Only stayed one night but musical theme elegantly displayed throughout hotel. Standard room a little squeezy but very functional. Rooftop bar a highlight on our last night in Seville. Located in Santa Cruz which has many good restaurants and is close to attractions such as Alcazar and Plaza Espana.

Stayed here in both the standard rooms and superior rooms. Both were good with excellent shower in the standard room and good shower/bath in the superior room, which was also larger, but perhaps less characterful. Both rooms were very quiet and as we are used to living in the country with no noise, this was much appreciated. Very well located for the Jewish Quarter/Santa Cruz and the main sites- but do take a detailed map as the free tourist ones aren't up to the job.

Breakfast simple but adequate. Complimentary sherry and iced tea in the reception rooms a nice touch. Staff very friendly and we were able to leave our luggage and come back on our last day to relax on the roof terrace. Top marks! We aren't that musical ourselves, but this didn't reduce our enjoyment of the room theming. Red carpet on the narrow pedestrian way by the side of the hotel made you feel that little bit special too.

Do try "Levies" tapas bar which is on Levies Road (turn left and left again)- it's the best value locally and the food is good. Seville for foodies like us was a bit of a disappointment after Bilbao, Madrid and Barcelona- but the Alcadar and Plaza de Espana were memorable. Enjoy!

Tucked down a little alley this is a great place to stay. It is surprisingly large with a series of roof terraces, consisting of a bar, sundeck and Jacuzzi. Breakfast may be eaten here as well, although we did not sample it, it looked good, Not only can you see the cathedral from here, but you can observe local family life on other roof terraces. The hotel itself is a bit quirky with musical instruments dotted around, with some rooms having pianos. A free drink of wine is available on arrival, or when one wishes, in the central court
The rooms are of varying sizes, we had the Beethoven room, small but comfortable, fully air conditioned, with a multi jet shower combined with a sauna. The hotel is close to all the major tourist attractions, and shopping streets, but we would suggest you take a map with you as it easy to get lost.
The staff are professional and friendly. When we arrived, the room safe was not working. The staff could have not been more helpful, with the house keeper literally running up and down stairs carrying the old and replacement safes. All fixed in 20 minutes, I suggest she joins the Spanish Olympic team! Well done and thank you.
We would highly recommend a stay here.

Room Tip: The entrance is down a small pedestrian side street.

This is a charming and well located hotel which is very well run. Javier at the front desk can answer any question, solve any problem and recommend the best flamenco in town. We agree with other reviews that their roof top deck with views of La Giralda and all of Seville is divine especially for a late night glass of wine or a delicious breakfast to start the day. Muy bien!

This hotel was set in a very nice location. It was near to the cathedral and other tourist attractions and hotels. The staff were friendly and professional. The hotel was so cute but what I loved best is they had a bar on the rooftop. It was so nice to go to after the end of your day and just relax and have a drink and admire the beauty of the city.

It was a nice touch to have wine and tea at all time free of charge to their guests.

My wife and I stayed here in June and loved it. Ideally located near the Cathedral and restaurants. Staff look after you well on the front desk and speak English well (thankfully ;-)) We had a Junior Suite which was a fantastic size and maintained an authentic feel of the type of property. Would definately recommend Weather was hot hot hot in June

Room Tip: Junior Suite was a great size

Hotel Amadeus is short blocks from Seville's main attractions , tapas bars and restaurants. The decor fits the hotel name with old instruments on display and a piano in our large room. Terrific courtyards and roof top bar. Very comfortable stay. Very large clean bathroom with two sinks and a whirlpool. Highly recommended
