The hotel was well located for access to the city centre and the best restaurants but it is tucked along a tiny dark alleyway where some late night drunken reveler had decided to be sick in three places. This was never cleaned up, so for 48 hours we had to pick our way across this mess to avoid bringing it in on our feet. Not pleasant.
Our hotel room was uncomfortably cold. We asked for assistance with this and it was resolved temporarily but it seemed that we had to ask the front desk each time we wanted the heating on. Bear in mind that Seville in December is very cold so this made our stay quite uncomfortable. Maybe there was a misunderstanding but it seemed a bit strange.
The decor is quite nice but a bit of a graveyard for de-commissioned musical instruments. The music theme was also rather diminished by the mis-spelling of composers' names (it is spelled Schumann, not Shuman!) which made the whole thing seem a bit pretentious.
We didn't try breakfast as there are many excellent places to eat nearby.
All in all, it wasn't bad but the experience was a bit mixed.More
