“Brilliance with a smile”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 August 2013

I arrive well after 12 midnight and the security was there and they were expecting us too. Night manager provided service with a smile and even more helpful as a translator for me and my friend, holiday exchanger Rafael. The hotel was even more beautiful than the pictures and we were all excited but exhausted. The family room which sleeps up to 4 people was beautiful, well presented and clean. With the added security which I had just seen downstairs I slept really well and so did my girls. I would like to thank all the managers at reception for their patience, friendly and helpful advice, directions etc for making my holiday in Selville wonderful. I have already started my word of mouth recommendations to everyone :-)

The hotel is beautiful, very andalusian style, the bed unconfortable and made a lot of noise when moving, the staff is awesome, very kind, funny and helpfull. The wifi signal was poor and to use it you have to be at the lobby. Good location. In general a great place and good service.

Finding the hotel by car was a challenge because of the one way traffic. If you are not used to driving in a city center, especially with narrow streets, you will go crazy. I did like it though :)
The spanish way of driving is much more relaxed to what i'm used to. The neighborhood is really great if you enjoy being mixed with the local people and it's pretty close to city center. There are so many bars in the neighborhood that's it's difficult to make a choice. I can recommend Las columnas and El realito. The hotel is very nice and the room has all necessary comfort. Last but not least, the staff is GREAT. Thanks again for helping me getting out of the parking .. in reverse.

Top walk to the city centre takes you around 20 minutes. A bit long but the neighborhood is great to have a drink at night as the people from Seville seem to have a party each day of the week. The hotel is quite noisy that can be w bit odd a problem for some. Apart from that is has a nice patio feeling, friendly staff that helps you out for all your questions.

We Stayed in the Patio de alameda hotel at the end of March and had a very enjoyable stay overall. The room was lovely, comfortable and clean.
Staff were friendly and the situation of the hotel for getting in and out of the city was very good.
However we had two complaints about the hotel. One was that it was VERY noisy at night time. Our room faced out to the front facing the square and there was lots of noise well into the night and early in the morning. Ask for a room not facing the front of the hotel when booking if looking for a good nights sleep.
The other complaint we had was the room service. The first day we stayed we arrived back to our room at 3.30 as my husband didn't feel well only to find our room hadn't been made up. He put the "Do not disturb" sign on the door so he could sleep so the room was left undone that day. The second day we arrived back to our hotel room at 6 o'clock after a long, busy day in the city and again our room wasn;t made up. We requested the room to be cleaned as we wanted to shower and prepare to go out for the evening and it was done straight away, but any other hotel we have ever stayed in the room would have been cleaned in the morning or early afternoon.

Room Tip: Book a room facing the interior of the hotel.

The location is perfect for a City visit. The streets outside are vibrant and busy with people yet inside the hotel it is peaceful. This is because all the rooms are built round a beautiful interior courtyard. Parking is available but use a satellite navigation if possible. The staff are superb and friendly. The hotel do not offer food but provide breakfast at the cafe next door. My advice is to try one of the excellent cafe bars within a few minutes walk. We booked 3 rooms for our family including children and it was perfect for us all. 5star treatment from a 3 star hotel.

Room Tip: If you are travelling with young children the ground floor rooms open into the interior courtyard. E...

the hotel is hard to find using the gps if you arrive by car. the best thing is to ask the hotel to give you the adress of the inside parking and go there (the entranceof the parking is on the back of the hotel, thus a diffrent street)

the staff is great and helpful, the parking is secure, yet going on the narrow streets is not my favorite driving place.

the room is large and beautiful, with old charm. it has two double beds, with painted headboards, a couch that can be turned into a bed, if you are travelling with children or you are 3 adults, an armchair, a tv set, AC, a cosmetic drawer, beautiful and a beautiful closet. there is also a safe in the closet.

the furniture is made of real wood, painted or natural.

the room is really big and confortable.

the bathroom is very modern and has everything you need.

the lighting system is great, allowing to choose how much light you want to have in your room.

the patio is beautiful and you really have the feeling of being in vacation.

there is no noise if you don't have the room facing the alameda. all the windows have a glass and a wooden cover.

the breakfast is not great, but is good enought not to be hungry until you get in a great food location.
