“Great location”
Reviewed 7 July 2014

Stayed here for two nights in a double room en suite. The location is great, literally around the corner from the cathedral and the staff were really helpful and friendly. The view from the terrace is beautiful and a great place to enjoy the more than adequate breakfast that the hostel provides.

We enjoyed our stay in Seville very much and would no doubt stay in this hotel/hostel again. If you do your research, you wouldn't have any trouble locating the hotel from the airport or train station. We took the airport bus and a short tram ride to the Cathedral and off we went into a little street to find the hostel. The walk to Santa Justa station took a few more left&right (even diagonal) directions though, it will probable take 20-25 minutes with luggage. Just don't forget your map! Anyway, it IS centrally located, you can practically go anywhere and just find your way back to the Cathedral and you're back at the hotel to rest again. The private double room was adequate, it is budget after all so don't expect spaciousness. The breakfast was bread, paté, cereals, muffins, coffee, juice. You have to clean up after yourself. The rooftop views are a delight. The staff we found were mostly good. The guy who welcomed us upon arrival was indifferent (maybe because we don't look like the youth hostel-going type?) but the others and esp. the lady who helps in cleaning up were great. Overall an excellent stay and would def. go back next time.

This hostel is right downtown and is close to everything. The staff is friendly and the place is very clean. They have a great rooftop patio that has an amazing view of the cathedral. This is a great choice for being right int he middle of Seville! A+

Grand Luxe Hostel has a perfect location and an amazing rooftop. Those are the best things in the hostel because otherwise it's really basic hostel. We stayed in a room for 4 persons and it was too small. The bathroom was dirty and everything in the bathroom was broken.
Tho I wanna say special thanks to the staff there. They were really friendly and helpful. Especially this one woman who worked yesterday morning there doing everything by herself, making the breakfast, washing dishes, taking care of the reception etc. I have never seen a spanish working so hard and fast. Still she was nice to everyone.

Stayed in a spacious double room with balcony (201 if remember correctly), most other rooms have only very limited day light/ window and I would not recommend if you require more than just a bed.
The rooftop is great. Place very central but tricky to find.
It is a hostel with two iron stair cases, so you will frequently hear other guests, no outside noise.
Place seems to be very popular among Asian travelers.
Breakfast simple but ok

From the official pictures, the name GRAND LUXE, and the cost i expected something different, i spent 10 days travelling all arond Spain and for the same price all the other places i stayed were better, this one is just an hostel with plain IKEA furnitures, a beutifull view from the terrazza, in a very central zone. The included breakfast is nothing special (bread, cereals, marmelade, coffe, juice) and they say it is served from 8a.m. but actually they arrive and start preparing it at 8... and you have to wassh up! i understand this is an hostel and this level of service is acceptable if you pay 8€ for a bunk bed but we took the double private bathroom room and paied the same price we would have in an hotel so we expected a better level.
