We came across this Restaurant by accident one night, the waiter spoke excellent English and was extremely helpful and friendly recommending wine to accompany our tapas . The menu was a welcome change from the usual standard tapas served throughout the city. The food was great full of flavour we only sampled a few dishes as we'd eaten a late lunch and weren't too full. It was a shame we couldn't fit more in! The restaurant was quiet only 2 other tables occupied which was a shame it deserves more popularity. Food was reasonably priced overall it was our favourite food in Seville we'd definitely recommend eating here.

Ate here the other night, they have a mix of tapas and full sized meals and the menu is available in English (which is hugely helpful for us as we don't know any Spanish). We had one waiter who spoke English very well and another that didn't seem to know any but he tried hard to understand what we wanted. The food was also excellent, the meat dishes melted in our mouths and everything was well seasoned.

I wouldn't say it was cheap but it was well priced. Just watch out for the bread they put on the table. We thought it was free but were charged 80 cents per piece which is ridiculous! I would highly recommend eating here if you want a relaxing and delicious meal in a nice setting.

Myself and four colleagues dined here last night on a friends advice. Really cool little restaurant and an extremely helpful waiter, who spoke good English. I ordered a prawn risotto, which was fantastic. Really creamy and cooked to perfection. A pork with salted potatoes another hit and a foie chicken liver dish with slices of bread. I must admit the last dish was not superbly presented however, it tasted fantastic. Topped off with a cracking local Temperanillo, all in all a great night. Try the caramel vodka when offered, it's lovely.

After three days of enjoying tapas around Seville we ended up here for want of something still Spanish but different and we couldn't be happier. The food was exquisite and portions generous. The squid in its own ink, tuna tataki, the tender pork cheeks served in a beautifully moreish sweet sauce and the grilled pork fillet, all tapa-size and delicious, got us happily full after an entire day of wandering the streets of the city, but we still went for a dessert, not that we needed it, but we didn't want to pass on the opportunity to taste yet another delicious course. We asked our waiter to suggest wines and all of those we tried were as impressive as the food. It was clear that they knew the local produce well (their olives -the best we tasted during our trip to Seville- were coming from a small town nearby, for instance) and knew what to do with it. And the service was beyond attentive and friendly. This sure was a memorable dining experience. Tricota is a nice excuse to go back to Seville.

We ate at Tricota twice during our recent trip to Seville. Although there is an english menu the translations aren't particularly accurate! However, the food is good so hopefully you'll pick something you like. We particularly enjoyed the 'special pasta' which was in fact spring rolls, and the risotto. I know quite a few people have raved about the fish burger but I thought it had a very odd texture. The second night was busier and a few dishes weren't available which was disappointing as the menu is fairly small. Great presentation and the staff were very friendly. We'd definitely go back if we visit Seville again.
