Review of The Trinity - CLOSED

The Trinity
Cuisines: Irish, Mediterranean
Description: The Trinity is a bar in true Victorian style located on the ground floor of the Hotel Inglaterra and is one of the most popular spots not only in Seville but also in the whole of Spain. The Trinity Pub was named "Best Cocktail Bar in Spain" in 2011 by the magazine of London's s prestigious department store Harrods. The Trinity Pub has become one of the city's most lively nightspots. Apart from regular customers, The Trinity also serves many of the hotel's guests, who see it as a great meeting place for a coffee or nightcap after visiting the city. But surely the icing on the cake are its cocktails, served by our expert and award-winning bartenders, Cocktail Champions of Spain for two years running. Their cocktails have delighted all those fortunate to taste them.

In a city with such beautiful weather, incredible architecture & copious restaurants & bars up meandering side street, Trinity is an odd choice. It's dark wooden & green interiors is decorated perfectly to depict an Irish bar. We found the staff tentative & made incredible cocktails (mostly Bloody Mary's for me to settle myself after the night before). The addition of crisps & olives is a nice touch. We always pop in when we're in Seville....and wobble out a few hours later!

We made an early decision never to use this venue after a single experience where it was a matter of "hunt the staff" in what should have been a table service cafe/bar. Very unsatisfactory.

Overpriced, very slow service, miserable staff as others have written. But the crowning achievement was declining to take my Amex card. The bar is part of the Hotel Ingleterra. I went to the front desk, yes, they took Amex. The waitress who was confronted, insisted sheepishly that their machine wouldn't work with Amex.what a scam. Will never go back.

How in this day and age can anyone employ the most miserable person in all of Spain. What a great pub and great selection of Gins but come on there are no awards for being down right miserable. What is spanish for miserable with a cant be bothered attitude. Let me see....miserable y no podía ser molestado
