Very friendly and helpful staff available 24 hours.
They all had good local knowledge.
Hotel was very good for a giving rating, totally worth it.
Clean beautiful building.
Only downside was that we had problems with hot water distributions and they did not cope well with little complain.

We are currently staying at the Hostel Nuevo Suizo and are very happy with our choice. The hostel is housed in an original building with many unique features which are really nice. As some previous reviewers have stated, it may be quite noisy staying on the ground floor near to reception but as we are on the second floor we have been very happy with our accommodation. The shared bathroom is kept really clean as is the entire hostel. The breakfast is basic but enough to start your day. The location is great with easy access to all the sights of Seville. No complaints, a very comfortable stay.

Nice staff who spoke good English and had some good advice on places to visit. We had a room on the ground floor, which was quite big but very cold (despite the heater being left on) and being right next to reception it was very noisy, especially when they set up for breakfast early morning.

Room Tip: Ground floor is VERY noisy next to reception.

We stayed here in December, with our family. I shared a room with my sister which was on the 2nd floor. My parents had a room next to the reception desk on the ground floor.

My sister and I had a good night sleep there, only occassionally we heard some noises from another room.

My parents did not have such a quiet night though. In their room, there was a connection with a door to another room. The door didn't really keep out any noises and not even light. Thus, they could hear everything happening in the room next to them, and on top of that they heard the reception desk activities very well. The next morning they also heard the noises from the breakfast, since this happens in the central hall on the ground floor as well.

It was clean and we liked the breakfast. It was simple but sufficient. The rooms and the building itself were really nice, and beautifully located, right in the city center.

To summarize; if you're looking for a hostel in the city center, I would recommend a stay here, but make sure you ask for a room on the 1st or 2nd floor!

Room Tip: As mentioned; make sure you're not next to the reception desk. Rooms on the 1st and 2nd floor ar...

We had two separate bookings for consecutive nights (ie. different rooms) they insisted we pay for BOTH bookings and made us leave to get cash out instead of allowing us to pay for the second booking on the following day. Bad sign!! We reached our room and couldn't even open the door the whole way because the bed was in the way. We had to slam the door open and closed because the door was buckled.

The towels were not in the room and I had to repeatedly had to ask for them for it. Staff are indifferent and will tell you they will do something for you but you end up having to chase them for it or doing it yourself. While serving us they would continually stop and do something else. The shared bathroom was completely drenched from the rain and dirty.

The bed had stray hairs in it and I am dubious as to whether or not the sheets had been changed.

Walls are thin and you might as well be sleeping with strangers; you can hear everything!

WORST PLACE I HAVE STAYED IN. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

The hostel is in a convenient place, though hard to find. The rooms are small, but adequate, and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful with directions, and are available 24 hrs. The breakfast area is very small; it's much easier to grab a bite in one of the many places to eat nearby.

Rooms were average, location perfect. Breakfast was forgettable but great places to have coffee close by. Expensive compared to hostels in other places. But hard to beat the friendliness of the staff and 24 hour desk.

Room Tip: Top floor the quietest.
