“Lovely hotel close to city centre”
Reviewed 7 May 2013

We stayed in this beautiful hotel for 3 nights and it was a very good choice. The pictures would reinforce how full of suprises the hotel is and the staffs (especially those on breakfast duty) are very eager to please. The location was just a 10 minute gentle walk away from the Cathedral in Seville which itself isn't a big city. Breakfast was simple but filling, the freshly squeezed organge juice very refreshing. Rooms were simply decorated and boasted periodic character, i.e. they weren't totally modern. The only downsides were: no ironing boards or iron, no lunch or dinner served in the hotel. Other than that it was a pleasant stay and will go stay there again.

this hotel has impressed me alot and i was only in it for 1 night, we had a breakfast with them and it was in a lovely little room. it was lovely. the hotel almost takes you back in time, in a good way. the only problem is that we had lots of suitcases because we came as a family and there are ALOT of stairs. the room was lovely and i can understand all the kitchen factilities they give you uf you were staying for a week but we only stayed for 1 day which i though was a bit of a shame as i really did like this hotel. the staff were lovely and friendly and when we checked out we left our luggage with them to pick up on our way back home later on in the day, had no problem with that! the desk people are also very good with english so thats a good thing! so overall i rate this hotel as a 4 star the only bad is the stairs...

Room Tip: try and get a 1st floor room to avoid stairs!

This hotel allows its guests to truly experience a little bit of real Seville living. We stayed here last week (April 2013) for 7 nights. Very late check in but they were well prepared for us following a quick call to let them know. The staff are amazing, absolute attention to detail and very friendly. The double room as is often the case in Europe had two singles pushed together and after the first night when my girlfriend and I had used the top sheets as one double cover the maid popped in the next evening to check we were Ok with the new double way she had made the bed. Breakfast was varied and plentiful with beautiful fresh fruit daily and staff could not be more attentive and helpful pointing out best walking routes whenever possible...once you have been to Seville you will understand the reason for these tips!!
The hotel itself is the old style of tenement housing converted into suites and rooms and allows you to chill in the authentic furniture scattered throughout the balcony and walkway areas so you drift off imagining the people many years ago who would have called this home and had their kids playing on the stone floors whilst their washing dried on the overhead lines...a dreamy place where you are immersed in the history and culture of the city.
Food in the local area absolutely spoils you. The best Tapas we have ever tasted in Spain and we have travelled a lot in Spain.!!.. Sights are amazing and everybody you meet in town is so friendly and welcoming. If you have the time hire a car and get out to the mountains and beaches all very reachable in day trips... have fun, we did.

Room Tip: Ask for room 16 it has the biggest bath in the world... you can do lengths in it.!!

Stayed in this hotel for Thurs Fri and Saturday of Semana Santa this year. It's not so much a hotel as a kind of B&B. The 'bar' is in a corner of the patio and you have to get someone to come and serve you, there is no restaurant for lunch or dinner, but a breakfast room with about 6 tables, so sometimes a wait was necessary. Breakfast was fresh oj, toast cheese ham etc and sugary commercial yogurt. Fresh fruit was old and unappealing. The staff are very pleasant. This hotel could be stunning, it is set in an old traditional house, with pretty planted courtyards, gorgeous wall tiles (as good as the Alfonso XIII), lovely original plasterwork and tinkling fountains. However it is scruffy, unkempt and unloved. Belongs to a company who are using it as a cash cow. Pity.

Wonderful hotel in Sevilla's old town within walking distance to the cathedral and loads of bars and restaurants. Not easy to get to by car but with parking at the front door reserved for guests. Rooms are set around connected courtyards. Ours was large and had a kitchenette and sitting area, which is a real treat after a day of sightseeing. It also had a boxbed, which is cozy and adds to the vibe, but less suited for people over 1m80. (Rooms with normal beds available too!)
When we decided to change our itinerary and shorten our stay they made no issue of it at all, even though we only told them on the day. Overall service was great. We would definitely stay there again!

Room Tip: people over 1m80 should get a room with a normal bed rather than a bedbox

If you are looking for a traditional Andaluz house, this is the place. Wonderful typical interior courtyards.
The room was spacious enough for an extra bed. The bathtub just seemed like a swimming pool, my 5 years-old daughter just loved it.
My reservation didn't included breakfast, but in the last day we tried it. For 10€/adult is not worth it... too poor.
We went with our car, not expecting any trouble since it was presented having a private parking place. It really has, but for 6/7 cars and it was full. We spent about 20min looking for a parking place. Not very pleasant introduction.
The location is about 15/20min walk from the center of the old quarters where the cathedral is located.

Very quirky hotel with beautiful courtyards and plants in tubs and small gardens, everything felt very old and tired but pleasant enough, the bedroom junior suite room 22 was very odd, the first floor was drab and had a wardrobe and a very old sofa in it, then a spiral staircase which was very steep to the bedroom it was particularly unsafe with no hand rail for the first 4 treads and a accident waiting to happen.
There was a comfortable bed, no head board and an old fridge in the corner, the bathroom was like stepping back in time and we found it all very depressing to spend anytime in the room so spent most of our time around the city.
For the price we expected more really, there were no tea or coffee facilities in the room but there was a breakfast room open from 8:30 to 10:30 for continental style breakfast.

Room Tip: Try looking at a range of rooms certainly would not recommend room 22.
