“Secret little treasure”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 July 2014

This family run hotel is a secret little treasure in the heart of the city. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It has a pleasant atmosphere and even on the street side, the rooms are quiet. The rooftop bar is an exceptional plus and the cold tub with rooftop cityscape views is perfect for a warm Sevilla night. Loved it, will come back.

What a great hotel. Made to feel welcome from the second you arrived. Staff were full of advice and useful information. Hotel was really interesting and quirky but clean and pleasant too. The rooftop bar with jacuzzi was the icing on the cake. Try the mojito!

Staff were wonderful, very friendly and happy to help and offer suggestions on where to go and what to do. Great hotel and in an excellent location. Highly recommend this place!! The only thing to note is that the wifi in the rooms is not incredibly strong but it is very strong in the foyer and reception. Still this did not dampen our stay due to the excellent service and great room

We stayed at this hotel last night, sadly for just 1 night. We so wished we had planned longer in Seville as it had so much to see. We were a little disappointed in our Room 101 as it was an internal room (very small) and the only window you could open was onto the internal stairwell and corridors. We were initially concerned because we love sleeping with open windows and fresh air. However, it must have had some form of air conditioning as it never got stuffy and we slept very well. The staff were excellent and the gentleman (think he must have been the owner) that was there when we arrived spoke excellent English and gave us a run down of things to do and see in Seville. We would have to say the breakfast Buffet at a cost of €6/person was excellent, probably one of the best we have had in the last 3 weeks in Spain
The negative for us was that after the first shower, the hot water ran out so my husband couldn't shower at all.

Room Tip: Room 101 has no external facing window

We stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions as we were making a quick stop to Seville before leaving for other destinations. The mother and son team that run the front desk are incredibly amazing and made this experience very memorable. The mother wasn't too great with English but tried her best to direct us to sites and places to dine. The son is fully fluent in English, a great conversationalist and very helpful.

The rooms we were given on both stays were very quaint. I'll admit that they weren't too roomy and basically give you enough space to just lay down your luggage, take a nap and clean yourself off. It's also important to know that you have no control over the room temperature. We were having issues with our room A/C not being turned on and asked the front desk to help us. They came in with their own remote to set the temperature and turn on the A/C, but there's no actual temperature setting device in the room. What's worse, the A/C turned off during the night and it turned into a hot mess. Again, if it wasn't for the eagerness and helpfulness of the front staff to do everything possible to make our stay better, I would probably have a different opinion of this place.

The hotel is located nearby tons of restaurants, attractions and small shops. We didn't have much time to enjoy nearby eats and treats, but rest assured, you'll be in the thick of things!

I think this is a great place for a quick stop over - I wouldn't suggest it for more than 2 or 3 nights. It's pretty tight quarters and having no control over A/C makes things weird. You will love the front staff and the service, no doubt about that.

This small hotel was very big on service. The people couldn't have been more helpful. Upon checking in, the lovely young man was able to suggest restaurants and then asked if we wanted to order paella from a wonderful (well-priced) restaurant a day in advance, knowing that is the best paella to have-not prepared in bulk. We did that and it was an incredible meal! They so went out of their way to be kind that when we were there during a holiday and most stores were closed, Maria truly worked hard to figure out sights for us to see. She seemed to try to make the most of it and made it a personal go to do so for us. The location was very central yet off on a quiet street so our room was quiet. We loved sitting out on the rooftop in extremely comfortable lounging chairs. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Have just returned from three night stay here with a friend on sightseeing visit to Seville.

Accommodation was spotless and staff very welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them (especially Juan!). It is a short 15-20 minute walk to the main areas of the Old Town. Small attractive and comfortable rooms and beds. Roof bar and jacussi (but not heated) really nice, had cocktails up there one night.

Really enjoyed staying here and would definately return!
