It's clean, great staff who will answer all your indept questions, a jacuzzi on the rooftop terrace and right between The Giralda stuff and the best tapasrestaurant (DuoTapas) in Sevilla. It's in a beautiful building too.

Keeping in mind that this is a 2-star hotel, let me tell you that this is way above average for that range. The rooftop space takes the gold with a hot tub, several seating areas and the view of the city. Our room was very roomy for a couple with a young child and we were very pleased with it. The hotel has what you would call "character". It is well located for exploring the sites - though not in the middle of the action. The people who run it are extra helpful and will offer an intro lecture upon arrival. They will tailor their speech based on your interests, so don't be shy to ask. Their recommendations on restaurants were right on point. If you are not looking for a luxury experience and the city itself will be the star of your trip, don't hesitate. Espacio Azahar is it.

What can I say, what more do you want from a little city hotel. This place has clean sheets, a warm shower, lovely interiors and a charming rooftop terrace that has lots of sofas and chairs for chilling with a hot tub right at the top, oh and also brilliant barmaids that make a perfect mojito.

This place is located on the North West side of La Campana, this is where there has been a recent construction that basically resembles mushrooms and allows you to see across the whole city. I say, forget La Campana and book yourself a room here, you can have the same views from the hot tub with a cocktail in hand.

Also if you come to this hotel ask the staff at the front desk to point you in the direction of a tapas bar called 'Dos de Mayo' that is located about 2 minutes out of the front door in a little plaza that runs parallel to the hotel. Fantastic food! So back to the hotel, found the staff to be incredibly helpful and funny, they are very knowledgeable about places to eat, places to go and things to do. Just ask and they will grab a map and spend 15 minutes circling locations and passionately explaining why you must go to them all, it was great fun.

The interior of this place was lovely, they had a skylight in the middle of a central lobby with the staircase on one side that allowed lots of light to cascade into the hotel and the central balcony. Up top there are lots of sofas and bean bags and Moorish style hanging lights that provides a brilliant atmosphere if you would just like to crash out after a days walking around the city and hunting out all the places the staff had told you about.

Come here, you will love it as there are so many restaurants close to here to choose from and you are also away from the tourist area. I found it incredibly easy to find, a taxi can stop right outside this hotel in a single oneway street so there is no stress about getting lost around Barrio de Santa Cruz trying to find your hotel after boozing back 1 euro beers and cheap delicious red wine.

Quiet hotel on a night too, would recommend it for any type of travellers.

We were three people staying here on a relatively cultured stag do and they found the funny side of us going out for a bit of a bender as we could come back at anytime we liked, there is always someone there to let you in if you got carried away eating tapas or dancing into the night at the famous flamenco shows that Sevilla has to offer.

Will definitely come back, great hotel!

We stayed for three nights in July and were very impressed with the friendly & down to earth staff. All were very helpful. We stayed in a triple room which was very spacious and comfortable. The bed and pillows were fantastic. This hotel is in a great location within walking distance to the major attractions. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

For the price, this is an excellent choice for a short stay in Seville. All of the staff are helpful and cater to your every need. The rooms are small but the hotel has lots of space to relax including a jacuzzi and bar on the roof. Breakfast is available and some great tapas bars are around the corner. I enjoyed walking to plaza Alameda which was away from the tourist areas. Go to the Jazz cafe and Cafe Paco.
Juan and his colleagues can help with any tickets or arrangements. Best town in Andalucia! Loved hanging out in Santa Cruz after see all the sights.

I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff were excellent in every respect, friendly, helpful and accommodating, and the hotel was beautiful, way beyond what you can see from the photos. The most important thing for me was that it was also spotlessly clean.

I arrived early evening and had a lovely chat with Juan who talked me through all the things he thought my friend and I might want to see in the city. His English is great (the same was true for all the staffs at reception) although he was very patient in allowing me to practise my Spanish too! He was happy to chat about everything and anything. I spent the evening on the rooftop terrace while I waited for my friend to arrive - the terrace is great, sun-drenched during the day but with plenty of shady spots and decked out with lots of sofas and hanging chairs. The little pool was great to have too and the bar serves amazing mojitos (first round was even on the house).

Our room was cleaned daily and had all the amenities you would expect of a four star hotel, not a three star one, hence I think this place represents real value for money. We had toiletries, bathrobes, a great shower, comfy beds, a hairdryer, a fridge, free wifi etc. The location is also perfect for exploring the city - three minutes to the pedestrianized shopping area, seconds from some great bars and restaurants and within a five to ten minute walk of all the major sights like the cathedral and the royal palace. The train station was 30 minutes away (we did a day trip to Cadiz) but easily walkable. Juan helped us buy our tickets in advance and print them so we got the best price.

All in all, we had a fab time. Seville is a beautiful city and if I were to return I would go back to Azahar for sure - it was comfortable, really clean, beautifully decorated with marble floors throughout, nice artwork, flowers etc., we were made to feel really welcome, it was safe, the staff were great and the strawberry mojitos on the terrace were the best I've had!

Room Tip: We were on the second floor - no window to the outdoors but the hotel is arranged in a square so our...
