It's charming when your taxi drops you at the corner unable to drive to the door because the old street is too narrow. A sense of adventure and authenticity.

Lovely location in the old city where even the maps will do you no good. Very nice and helpful staff gave us a recommendation for a tapas place which was excellent.

"Superior" room quality though, was a slight disappointment. Yes I understand things are tight in the old city, but I would rate this an average room.

Dear guests,

Thank you for taking the time and placing your opinions here at Trip advisor. We are very happy to hear that our staff were able to assist you correctly in things like places to visit, moving around the city (which may be tricky as you said..), site seeing and always making you feel comfortable.

We know we are located in a very privileged place of Sevilla and we thank you for taking notice. This is one of the reasons for how our hotels layout may seem to some a little bit tight, but it is due to the building being in the old part of town, being old the building itself and it would be a shame and very difficult to rebuild it completely; it would lose its trade mark or authenticity you could say..

In any case, feel free to pass by here again anytime we would very much like for you to stay with us again or even just pass by to see the changes we make as time passes.

Best regards,

My husband and I stayed there just last weekend for three nights .. Since we just found on booking.com we didn't know what to expect but this place was perfect for us. I was so pleasantly surprised!! We stayed in room 12 which is on the same level as the rooftop patio and it was practically right outside our doorstep .. Felt like our personal patio since we hardly saw anyone else up there. We were able to get wine beer etc throughout our stay and hang out up there. Relaz get sun etc The room was tiny but it didn't seem to matter .. Bathroom had a good shower. Place is very clean and the location was ideal. Walk able to everything..tapas. A great flamenco show and shops . Best of all the staff were all so welcoming and kind and accommodating. Great value too. We loved this place !!

I feel really conflicted about writing this review because I have nothing overtly negative to say about this hotel, but neither am I able to sing its praises. I would also add that I really wanted to love it. It was chosen by our group primarily because it had great reviews here on TA. The rooms were immaculate, but *really* small. The staff was professional, but not terribly friendly. The water in the shower was hot, but the shower stall minuscule. The roof terrace was lovely, but 1 or 2 rooms led off from it and I was concerned about noise we made.

*sigh*

I think if the price tag had been 20 euros cheaper, I would have loved it - but at 78 a night (+ tax and no breakfast), I was sort of, kind of, disappointed. There are better options in Seville ...

Dear guests,

thank you for placing your comment on Trip Advisor. We would like to inform that we are sorry if you thought that type of room wasn't adecuate to your expectations, we have others with different dimension although I am not sure of the specific availaility for the period of your stay, although a larger room with beter instalations would have been more costly.

As for the terrace, the rooms at the top have been semiprepared for soundproof to parcialy avoid this inconvenience, but even though it is of common use and the rooms are quite far from the terrace area.

And the pricing is based on ocupation and if it is high season or not and September I seem to remmember was a good season for our hotel.

We would love to have a second chance so we can make you feel positively about your stay next time.

Best Regards,

Stayed in triple room, 2 nights in July, (18.-19.7 2012) for 120 euro.
We were so happy with this hotel. Our triple room was on the second floor. in our room, there were 2 big windows, 3 beds, a minibar, TV, airconditioning, and bathroom with shower in the bath, sink and toilet. Towels, toilet paper and toiletries were provided.

There is a small elevator. Staff is very friendly, gave us a map, pointing out our position and where to go. The speak english.

Free coffee is provided in the morning, opposite to reception downstairs, you don´t have to ask, just pour yourself a coffee (there is sugar and milk and cups) and you can take it to the roof terrace. the coffee is available from about 7,30. We bought some supplies for breakfast, and had this coffee with breakfast in the roof-terrace. You can smoke in the terrace.

The minibar was also a plus! some water, fanta, coke, beer there, and altough small, you can put there your own supplies. Having a fridge is a real bonus there, because the temperature was about 42 celsius. The cans in the minibar were for 2 euros each.

The hotel is in the centrum, with walking distance to the most famous things. Narrow streets, little parks and then big parks, so beautiful! so close to everything. about 8 minutes to cathedral, and then 15 minutes walking to plaza espanya.
you can park your car next to the hotel, (150 meters) for 20 euro per 24 hours, which is quite a lot, but it was really worth it, for our peace of mind.

Note: some of the hotel rooms what i could see have small windows to the corridor only, but they are quiet. I can´t comment on the noise, because we have a tolerance to noice and we considering it to be a part of holiday in turisty area, but some people maybe not.

The best parts: really good location, rooftop terrace, minibar

We would definitely come back to this hotel.

I have found the hotel very charming & unique because it is situated in the Old part of Seville but when you enter the Hotel everything is brand new & well done. I did really like its architecture, the plants & the warm side of the stuff. I do highly recommend this hotel for a lovely Couple:)

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights in early July. We took a taxi from the train station and luckily our driver knew the area because it can be a little tricky to find. When we arrived, we were greeted by Jesse at the front desk. He was very nice and even helped us reserve a rental car on our second day. It was very nice of him to spend 20 minutes on the phone with the representative from Hertz. The hotel is in a great location...we walked around the Santa Cruz neighborhood on both days. The room was clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning. We had a room on the second floor, with a window which opened to the interior hallway. The hotel is bright and quiet. The room itself is dark if you draw the curtains, but we preferred this so we could get some sleep. The rooftop patio is beautiful. We didn't spend too much time there, but it's a nice place to enjoy the view of the city and have a cold drink. We watched a flamenco show at the local Museo del Baile Flamenco. It is within walking distance of the hotel (although I must warn that the streets are not organized in a grid fashion, and it is easy to get turned around...but it's not really a problem because you will always find yourself in a beautiful place) and tickets were only 10 euro per person. The show was spectacular, and not too long as some of them can be. The food in Sevilla is among the best in Spain, and there are plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance of this cute hotel. Hotel un Patio en Santa Cruz is a prime example of the hospitality that Sevilla is known for.
