The apartment hotel is far from the city centre of Sevilla, so unless one has a car, it is not recommendable to stay here. And it s difficult to find.

The rooms and furnitures didn't give the impression of cleanliness or up keeping, although the bed sheets seemed clean. The fridge in one of the rooms we stayed leaked and there was water all over the floor. The cutlery and plates looked dirty and not properly (or not at all) washed after the previous guests.

Convenient that there was a supermarket right next door. Breakfast was basic bread, pâté, hot and cold drinks, etc.

Call me daft but had real dificulty finding the place, even with satnav. The address took me 1/4 mile from hotel. After several trips around the area and 1 hour later, stumbled upon it.Yellow and blue building with 3 tatty flags.Looks nothing like a hotel nor has a sign to say it is.Looks like a medical center.Ground floor actually is.The hotel is on the first floor.Pool not open, doesnt look like it ever gets used.
Breakfast poor ,only a roll and jam and a coffee.
Too far out to make it a base to visit seville unless you have a car .Only problem then is ,it cost about € 2 per hour to park.
Kitchen poorly equipped.No cups ,kettle,pans.1 plate,2 knifes ,2 forks 1 spoon.LOL.

The room has good size, the bathroom is very good. The hotel is a litle bit far from the town, but if you have a car, you can get there in 10 min. There are shopping, supermarket, drugstore and restaurant next to the hotel that make a good place to stay.

This hotel is a twenty minute bus ride to the edge of Seville, and a fifteen minute walk to the bus stop in the first place. Staff were disinterested, and delighted in being UNhelpful. The pool was not working, the laundry busy (because the hotel uses it for their laundry). Nearby, though there were factory outlets, movies, supermarket which is closed over easter.

I've been to the Lux Seville 3 times since sept 07 and the rooms are great, there clean well airconditioned and the shutters outside the windows are really good at keeping that baking mid day heat out of your room.

I booked this hotel/appartments through skydive spain as there is a special rate for those planning on Skydiving but as stated on Skydive Spains web site you defo need a car or some sort of car share if you are stopping at the Lux as its about 15/20 mins from Skydive Spain. Its also about 15 mins away from the airport but cars can be booked and picked up at the airport. The location of these appartments are in a residental area that i have found to be friendly and quite, very little english is spoken in my experience.

The complex that the Lux is on has a few food outlets including maccies and a shopping centre which is good to wonder round if theres no jumping :) lol. Also right next door is a MAXI supermarket which is open till 9pm, this is good as you do have your own kitchen in the lux.

There is also a small swimming pool (not always swimable) and a couple of tennis courts aswell as 10 pin bowling at the adjoining complex

Down point to the hotel is that there is never the right cooking equipment in the kitchen as i always end up buying a pan or something required for the kitchen but i always find it cheap enough in the MAXI next door, so its not a major pain or expense.

Booked to return on the 1st june 09 for a week :) woohoo!!

this hotel is great for young travellers on a budget as it offers them a lot for their money. its an apartment hotel which means that all rooms have a lounge, kitchenette and a seperate bedroom and bathroom. there is also a pool and a decent restaurant, though obviously its much cheaper to just buy stuff from the local supermarket and prepare meals urself. the hotel is situated in the picturesque village of bormujos which is a short distance outside of Sevilla (not too far, 10 mins by car and 15-20 mins by bus). the local bus stop is a short walk from the hotel and is the cheapest way of getting to the central bus station in seville (1.20 euros per person). i wouldn't advise using public transport for getting to the hotel to and from the airport however as it isn't very easy to locate and u might miss it as it's entrance is located within a what looks like a shopping compound. taxi fare from the airport is around 35 euros so make sure u don't get ripped off by unscrupulous drivers (make sure they use their meters and u'll get a fair deal).finally the hotel is located close to a major shopping compound so u have an abundance of shops, stores, fast food joints (Burger King, etc.) within walking distance. and make sure u do all ur shopping or at least most of it in bormujos as everything is almost half the price u'd pay for in central sevilla. Last but not least the staff are friendly, helpful and polite and the rooms are spotlessly clean and are cleaned daily. wireless internet access is available on the 3rd floor but is sketchy on the other 2 floors, however there is a desktop with internet access that customers can use in the reception area of the hotel.
