Owner description: The Flamenco Dance Museum in Seville is the principal reference of the Andalusian cultural heritage, which makes understand and feel the union between culture and flamenco art, it is considered therefore as the temple of the Andalusian flamenco culture. The fusions the tradition of flamenco art with high technology and becomes the main entrance portal for the emotional understanding of this expression of Andalusian identity. A simple must for the cultural tourist.

This is a lovely, intimate venue for a superb Flamenco evening. I hesitate to use the word 'show' as the feel from the performers was more akin to sharing a passion than putting on a tourist event.

The performers, often from the school, are different each evening, and our quartet oozed expertise in guitar, singing, clapping and both solo and pair dances.

The energy, excitement and beauty of Flamenco kept our teens on the edge of their seat despite a full day walking around the city. I'd highly recommend this performance; if you are in Seville, please go (but get there early if you want the best seats).

Sadly, the late show doesn't allow a visit to the museum exhibits so I can't comment on this.

Visiting Seville with 9 friends, we decided to watch the flamenco show here. A few of us went to the museum as well, and enjoyed it. But the Flamenco was something else. All of us found it to be one of the highlights of our visit. There were a male and female dancer, a singer and a guitar player who all performed both together and solo. As the show got on, I realised I was moving along with the music and found myself completely entranced with the sounds and movements.
I do highly recommend a visit to this show.

When I saw this show I was awestruck...the passion of the dancers, the guitarist and the singer! Just outstanding. It had everything, the moodiness, the emotion, the stamina....this show really showcases all the parts that make flamenco the tradition it is.
To add to the strength of the show, the museo is intimate, you can see the movements, you can feel the floor move, you feel like you are the one dancing with the leads.

From a family perspective, we all loved it - our 4 year old to nanna! Our daughter has been running around for days pretending to be an 'a-mango' dancer, clapping and stomping her feet. If you miss out on the front few rows, sit in the back against the wall as you can stand up during the show to see the footwork. Also there is space for a stroller. Some of the side seats also have a great view of the stage for the little ones to see the footwork. We took our daughters dinner in to the 7pm show and it was no issue. You can purchase wine and drinks before the show.

Having read a few comments on Tripadviser, I think that the flamenco show is being rated down on the strength of expectations for the museum...don't let this trick you out of seeing what is a fabulous show, that show cases the guitar, singing and dancing aspects, in a charming intimate environment.

The Flamenco show last one hour and the theatre seats maybe 100 persons. Four artists are featured with a female and male dancer and guitarist and singer. Each has an opportunity to display their particular skill which is exceptional. A pleasing aspect is that there is no pressure to buy poor value add-ons such as drinks or meals. Recommended. Tickets were approx.,Euros 17.

when it says museum, you expect at least a bit of history, some explanation, albeit in a rather rudimental form. That's not what this place is about. There's a bit of information about the origin, some vidfeos on the different styples and schools, again a bit of video (in 6 languages) that is supposed to illustrate the evolution (which we didn't see) and an exhibit of dresses. The other 2 floors are filled with paintings and other works of art, related to flamenco, and in the shop you can buy a cutaway flamenco guitar for 1000 euro. That's about all there is, and we felt it was not worth the 10 euro per person (3 to 5 would be justified)
