More a hotel than a hostel, with clean rooms and within 15 mins walk of city centre.
Very secure - checkin on first floor, security camera in lobby, 24 hour receptionist.
Wifi in room price, further Internet access via hotel computer.
Good Continental breakfast Euro 3.
Economical room rate Euro 44.
Close to central bus station.
Would stay again when visiting Seville.
Staff efficient but don't expect a lot of smiles!!!!!

I chose this for our one day overnight stay in Seville primarily because it is located very near the Plaza de Armas Bus Station from where we arrived from Granada, and from where we will leave for our next destination, Lisbon. It was only about a 5-minute, 2 block walk away -- perfect!

When we got to the front desk, it was manned by an elderly Spanish gentleman, with predictably limited English. Fortunately we still were able to get through with our basic Spanish to ask for a map and directions, but it was formidable. The next day, it was yet another elderly Spanish man at the front desk. Same situation with the limited communication, but barely got through anyway.

It was also very close to the bridge leading to the district of Triana, so we went to look there first. Then we continued to walk along the river towards the Bull Ring, and later went into the city streets to reach the enormous Seville Cathedral. The next morning, we were also able to walk further to reach the amazingly expansive Plaza de Espana. Not really near, but walk-able nonetheless, just pace yourself.

Stayed here for 3 nights in april 2008, I remember that it was close to city center and that the bathroom was clean enough - these are all the positive aspects. In order to watch the TV we had some cheap made-in-china ear-plugs (because you were not allowed to make any kind of noise). The beds look like hospital beds, made of iron, and not comfortable at all, the view from the window faced the interior court (like in prison movies), the whole floor in the room and bathroom is covered with sandstone, which looks and feels very cold. I would definitely not recommend you to use this hotel if you are there on holiday, as it is the only strange memory I have from my holiday.

We have just returned back home from a great 4 nights Holiday in Romantic City of Seville. It have took me long to decides in which hotel we must stay. This as from what i saw the hotels in Old City Centre looks expensive while a much better hotels but away from Seville City was the same rate or even much cheaper . So finaly i oppted to book Hostal Jentorft a basic Hotel with continental breakfast but very cetraly situated . I can say we was so happy that we have choosed this hotel. We was given room 16, a clean and spacious room with a nice complete bathroom ... Room had a window looking on a very busy road. But as the window was double glaised room was nearly soundproof. Room was cleaned and done daily putting fresh and clean towels daily.Room had an aircondition too. So in hotel we found more then we pretended. This hotel was realy centraly and walkable to both Old City, Santa Cruz, Alcazar, Bull Arena, Torri D'Oro and Plaza Espana were all just few minutes walk away. While just a cross over on a bridge takes you to lovely Ariana in less then 10 minutes.... Plaza de Armas Bus Station is only 3 minute walk away. Just something that we was not 100% happy with this Hotel is that i read in Hotel Website that they have Free Wifi. So i took my notebook with me. But though i tried and tried i never manage to get true. Another problem that Hotel can easy manage is to avoid that some old people like of our age to go down the steps for their breakfast and to get up those steps again to their rooms. This can easy be done as Breakfast room and main hotel door are next to each other ,so all they want to do is to keep breakfast room door open .So one go out and get in from Main door to the elavator. We asked for this on first morning and the nice lady at the breakfast room got the keys and opened the door for us .. But next day the door was again locked and we find it very hard to ask her again to open the door for us ... Other from these two matters we was very happy during our 4 nights stay at this hotel ...
We wish to thanks the staff for their kind help.
