“Great accommodation in a central location”
Reviewed 12 June 2013

Lovely, comfortable and clean accommodation in a fantastic central location, at an extremely good price of 45 Euros a night for a twin room. The staff were very welcoming and hospitable, despite us rolling in at all hours of the morning after experiencing the Seville night life. Ideally stay in an upper room with en-suite bathroom, worth the extra 10 Euros a night. Also, the owners speak little English, so you may want to brush up on a common phrase or two, although you will get by fine without any Spanish. We didn't use the sun terrace as we were too busy exploring, but it was very nice.

Room Tip: Ideally stay in an upper room with en-suite bathroom, worth the extra 10 Euros a night.

I stayed at this Pension for 3 nights. The staff couldn't have been nicer. I felt very safe since they personally monitored who came in and out of the hotel. The location is great...on a quiet alley, but close to all the action.

The owners cleaned my room everyday, which I wasn't expecting, so that was a nice bonus.

The only downside of the setup is that sound echoes through the pavillion, so wear headphones. The rooftop lounge is super cute.
I'd definitely stay here again.

We loved this place, it was so clean you could eat off the floor! The rooms are smaller but very, very well done. It was perfect for the two of us and in pricey Sevilla it was a rare bargain. We were greeted by Charro, one of the daughters in this family owned establishment. The day we left Charro was there with her beautiful capricious puppy to send us off. We enjoyed chatting and having a wine on the rooftop deck with Joe from Bristol, formerly Madrid. This place was very centrally located in the hear of El Barrio Santa Cruz!!!!

Location and friendly staff were excellent. Very close to the Tapas bars and nightlife. Also very close to all the sights around the city center. Rooms are very basic. Just beds and a bathroom. Bathroom has no soap or shampoo. Just the one squeezy that you must use for everything. The staff speaks very little English so be careful. If you have a car you must know there is no parking. This is a walk only zone, you must park blocks away or in the lot that charges 20-25 Euros for 24 hours. We stayed only one night and it was noisy because we were in the room right by the main door. Ask for higher rooms if possible.

Room Tip: Higher floors might be less noisy

Recently I stayed in this hotel with my husband for three days and enjoyed a lot. From beginning till end, I have wonderful memories of this place. Warm welcome at the reception, moment I entered that beautiful room, mind-blowing bed tea in the late morning hours, yummy food and pleasing staff..... all was very impressive. I loved to stay here and will definitely recommend others also to visit the place once.

We found this pension via Trip Advisor as we were planning our two week trip to see our son studying in Sevilla in March. We stayed a total of eight nights on and off since we spent a weekend in Rome as well. The owners are very, very nice and accommodating. The location is at the end of a small little street. The room was small and quaint with two beds that we pushed together. The beds and the pillows were the most comfortable and made for an awesome night's sleep. It was kept very clean throughout our stay. The Santa Cruz location is perfect as we were within walking distance to everything. We were just minutes away from the Cathedral of Sevilla and Giralda tower, tons of tapas bars, a wonderful bakery and great little inexpensive breakfast place Cafe Levies (also a Trip Advisor location). Due to the location, you do hear the church bells in the morning, but by that time we were up and almost out anyway. At the pension, you must be buzzed in/out, so the place is very safe. Since we broke up our trip with the Rome weekend, we were able to leave or large suite case with them and just take our weekeneder bag. Two small minor "cons": no elevator, so make sure your bags are light enough to carry up one or two flights. And two, the "shampoo" in the bathroom is really liquid soap, so we bought a bar of soap and shampoo. Other than that, the place is an incredible bargain. Should we go back to Sevilla, we would most definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: I would select the rooms on the second floor if you have heavy luggage to carry (since there is no e...

I stayed here two nights in a double room. The pension itself is charming and cute but no frills. For the price, not bad. However the double rooms are extrememly small. For a long visit they are not ideal but for a night or two it is fine. Very basic in general-no shampoos or shower gel, no alarm clock in the room but there is a tv, ac, everything was very clean. The owner and her family were very friendly. The two mornings we were there they offered us typical donuts to eat. I would recommened this place if you are on a budget or dont plan on spending much time in the room.
