It is a easy 15 min walk from the railway station. We stayed on the first floor and had access to a balcony. The size of the room and bathroom was okay and it was clean. The staff didn't speak much English, but was very friendly and helpful. It also quite safe as the access is controlled by the staff. I made a non-refundable booking through booking.com and got my dates mixed up. They changed it with any additional charge. The air-conditioning was working well, but did not try the Wi-fFi. Will definitely stay there again.

We stayed here three nights, good room rate £28/night. Good location, 15 minutes walk from the Railway station, Cathedral, and the plaza de Espana. Rooms are really small, but have air condition, private bathroom, and tv. The guy in the reception were helpful, but not much English. Overall recommended for budget tourist to discover Seville.

We stayed at HOSTAL SAN FRANCISCO for 3 nights in May. The room was small, but clean. There was only a small window, facing the aisle. Fortunately, the weather was nice, but not hot, therefore we did not need a/c. (so we don't know if it works properly or not)
Receptionists were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was not available but a few meters outside there were some bars which served the real Spanish breakfast: delicious!
The hotel is located a few steps from the city centre and we paid € 38 per night (double room).
We suggest this hotel to young tourists who are not snob or luxury-oriented.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing inside.

My sister and I stayed here for two nights at end of April. We had a twin room which was spotless with comfortable beds ,soft sheets and shutters which kept the room dark for sleeping . Sheets and towels were changed each day and the shower was good .The staff were pleasant though not much English spoken. It is very central and we were able to walk from the station and to all the sights . I would stay again when in Seville

This is a great budget hotel. Only about a 15 minute walk from the train station and on a quiet side street but minutes from the main tourist parts of Seville. Also close to a couple of supermarkets and bars that serve breakfast. The owners were simply lovely - really friendly and kind and they made it clear that nothing was too much to ask. The room was small but was great for the price, and was very clean - in fact cleaned daily, with fresh towels. The only down side to the room was that there was no window so the room was quite dark, but you don't go to Seville to sit in your room do you? This is a great place for a cheap stay in Seville.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a window if they have one.

We stayed here for 4 nights. They changed our towels and sheets everyday which was a surprise, but a pleasant one! Great location with minutes to plaza Espana, restaurants and the historical center. A couple of supermarkets close by for snacks. Clean rooms and washrooms. Try to avoid Seville in August if you can. We had to stay in for a couple of hours everyday, it reached 47c one day, around 116f.

We stayed here for two nights and couldn't have asked for more! We were greeted by Javier who was very nice and very helpful (he gave us tons of tips and recommendations). We had a very spacious room overlooking the courtyard that was very clean and very safe. The hostal was conveniently located in the city and within walking distance of many attractions. *The best part of the hostal is that you can hear the cathedral bells from your room.
