“Impeccable taste”
Reviewed 6 December 2013

Perfect location in the middle of the historical quarter, a short exploratory walk from everything. The junior suite has a magnificent bed, gorgeous linen curtains, and clever design to maximize room features. Huge bathroom. Very friendly staff, Veronica, Patrician, and Gabriela, as well as personalized welcome card from owners with a gift of olive oil. My only suggestion would be to include proteins as part of the breakfast menu (they are optional orders). The croissants are simply too delicious, the best we tasted in Spain.

Difficult to locate amongst the narrow streets of the old town so its advisable to take a local taxi and then practice your map reading skills. Once located everything is close by. Staff are extremely helpful and no rush for breakfast.

My husband, our son (then 3-months old) and I had the good fortune to spend a few days at Corral del Rey this time last year. Even a year later, we are still reminiscing about the fantastic time we had there and plotting our return. Many factors made our stay there unforgettable.

First, the warm and welcoming staff who went way out of their way to take care of us. We remember, Rocio, in particular. She was really friendly and thoughtful -- giving us great advice and assistance on everything ranging from which hospital to take our baby to when he got a bad cough, to great ideas on how to enjoy the fabulous city of Sevila. We will not forget her hospitality.

Second, our hotel room was beautiful. A perfect mix of historic Spanish architecture with modern luxe and comfort. It was so much nicer to be in this charming and unique boutique hotel as compared to being in a large chain hotel.

Third, the hotel is in a perfect location. We loved exploring our neighborhood, with its great restaurants, cafes, shops, and historic buildings, and we were in walking distance to pretty much everywhere we wanted to go.

Finally, because it was during the slow season, we got a great deal when we ordered our rooms on the Corral del Rey website.

We can't wait to go back!

I was curious as the Corral del Rey got such great reviews on TripAdvisor. It simply delivered on the promise, simply excellent. I was greated with a personal check-in, tips on where to eat that night and a personal inspection of the room. Fantastic room: very spacious, very quiet, very clean, very nicely decorated. My room featured a bathroom with double rain shower heads with a glass wall looking into a magical lit patio (but no one looking in!). Excellent (free!) Wi-Fi. Breakfast in the morning was excellent with a good continental breakfast (breads, croissants, fresh OJ) with a choice of some a la carte dishes including an Andalucian breakfast. Hard to find (take a taxi!), but the cathedral within 5 minutes' walk.
Could not fail this hotel: wonderful location, 5 star rooms, 5 star service

Room Tip: #10 has a sofa with fold-out bed and double (rain) shower heads in the bathroom. Located in the anne...

Amazing staff, so warm, helpful and accommodating. Beautiful hotel in prime location, couldn't imagine a better stay anywhere in Sevilla. Bed was comfortable, room and rest of property was beautiful, amazing view from roof terrace. Hope to return ASAP. Thx Anthony and company!

We've stayed in some great hotels over the years, and being lucky enough to be upgraded to the Penthouse at this hotel meant that this was perhaps the best ever! (Perhaps only challenged by the Garden Suite at Burgh Island in Devon, England)

The stay started with a very freindly low key greeting on arrival, being offered a lovely cup of coffee while they took our bags and checked the room was ready, and then walking into the room and going both going "wow!".

We'd booked the room some weeks in advance, and both forgotten the details, so were absolutely delighted with our find. The Penthouse room us up at rooftop level, with views of the Cathedral, and two other nearbly church towers. It has not just one, but two private terraces, obe with its own plunge pool full of fresh water (for the hot Seville summer). The room itself if full of air and light, with it's own sitting area, bedroom, bathroom with granite tub, and double walk-in shower. With views to two sides of the nearby church towers.

It was decorated in the most wonderful way, that matched the surrounding city. We only took one meal in the hotel - a very nice continental breakfast brought up to our room within minutes of our call - and eaten relaxedly on our terrace. As for location, google maps showed it was 4 minutes walk from anywhere we wanted to go, and there are as many Tapas bars nearby as you could ever want.

If you're planning a trip to Seville and like small boutique hotels, make sure you choose this hotel!
