rather unavoidable, considering all that's adjacent to it, so no special trip required.
i far preferred pza de la Alfafa, del Salvador, Espana, & Alameda Hercules.

“Beautiful Square”
Reviewed 2 March 2013

The Plza del Triunfo is a place to take many photos of the adjacent buildings, such as the Cathedral and the Giraldo Tower. One can also see many of the horse-drawn carriages standing by to pick up customers.

This plaza is Sevilla located right next to La Giralda, La Catedral and el Real Alcazar. There is no traffic and it is a wonderful place to hear the bells ring.

“Monumental”
Reviewed 13 January 2013

One of my favorite areas in Seville - this plaza and around the corner, the adjoining Plaza Virgen de los Reyes are monumental by Spanish standards. Orange trees, fountains, La Giralda and the Cathedral, the Reales Alcazares - its all right here. The street Mateos Gagos leading into the Barrio Santa Cruz has restaurants that are a bit touristy but going halfway down the street and looking back gives you a nice view of the Giralda framed by orange trees.

Tip: Avoid taking the sprig of rosemary the gypsy women try to give you, accepting one means you should leave them a tip.
