“Great location & Wonderful Hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 August 2014

Great location in the heart of town. A little hard to find but well worth the journey. The hotel is super cute with central courtyard for delicious buffet breakfast (9euro extra). The rooms are clean, bathrooms well stocked, free wi-fi, free walking tour, free bottle waters, and friendly staff!

Visiting Sevilla is best with a hotel in the city center within walking distance of all activities. This hotel ticks all the boxes. At arrival we were welcomed at the reception by a nice lady who spoke perfect english. We were told about the hotel an what is included in the price, besides cold bottles of water, a free city tour, a free drink in a bar and some free time in the jaccuzi.
The location is excellent we went by taxi and had to walk for 2 minutes to the hotel, as no cars can reach it. The room we had was not so big but really clean and compfy.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 21 not to big but nice enough, i have to say this was the first hotel with airco w...

Most has already been said...:
- fantastic position - easy walking distance to most things.
- free walking tour daily
- free bottled water
-,bicycles provided free to get about more distant sights
- we took a Segway tour (available at hotel) which was great fun and gave us a good overview to return with the bikes the following day
- large room with a sitting area
- great view from rooftop - we didn't avail ourselves of the Jacuzzi
- breakfast is plentiful and varied and available until 1100
- although coffee making not available in the room, the restaurant (attached) did deliver it to the courtyard when I ordered same!
-- restaurant is also OK
- staff will go out of their way to help - one booked a flamenco show for us, another offered to walk us to the nearby square when we need to catch a taxi to the station
The courtyard insured to serve breakfast but I also noted guests sitting on the couches relaxing or also having drinks at the tabkes

We certainly wouldn't hesitate to return or to recommend.

Room Tip: We had room one which was on the ground floor and opened onto the courtyard - this didn't effect...

Great location close to cathedral, alcazar, Jewish quarter and other tourist attractions. Very good breakfast in beautiful shady courtyard. Free cold water to drink an added bonus. Staff speak good English.

Room Tip: Our room overlooked courtyard and was very quiet

We stayed here for 3 nights in July. Loved the easy location to all sorts of restaurants and sites. Everything was in walking distance, even the underground garage where we parked our car and left it for the duration of our visit!
All the staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke English - which was important as we didn't speak Spanish. We also made use of the free half-day city walking tour and would definitely recommend that.
The courtyard was very pleasant (in the heat of the day it is covered by a large awning) and the buffet breakfast was ample, delicious and offered lots of choices.

Room Tip: ours faced the courtyard and it was lovely and quiet

Our stay in El Rey Moro in Sevilla was wonderful. It is a small "boutique" type hotel Each room is uniquely decorated and even though it was small, it had everything we needed, included WiFi. The location is in the Santa Cruz barrio, centrally located, only a few blocks from La Giralda and other historic buildings. We also walked to the Plaza de Toros "La Maestranza" and to Plaza España. The room was comfortable, the bathroom had a bathtub and it included besides all the amenities, bathrobes and slippers. The people at the reception were very knowledgeable and helpful. They even booked for us an excellent Flamenco dance at a "Tablao" only a few steps from the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and included in the price. We arrived by train and took a short taxi drive. Taxis (or cars) cannot get near the hotel, but it left us only a few steps from the hotel. Overall it was a great stay and experience in Sevilla. I definitely recommend this hotel and I would like to book again with them if I go back. We booked directly with the hotel through their website and got a better deal than with the other websites.

Room Tip: I do not remember the room number, but it was on the third floor overlooking the inside patio/courty...
