I decided to go to “Alta Taberna Pedro Saputo” after reading some reviews of other travelers on tripadvisor.
Everyone suggested this “Taberna” so we decided to go…. We arrive at Taberna at 19,50 but the Taberna was closed… it opens at 20,00 … so we wait until 20,00 and we go in as the first customers. I think it’s not usual for Spanish people go to dinner at 20,00 … it’s too early for them!!
The Taberna has only few table and a long bar counter where you can sit in the barstools!!
If you sit in the barstools you can easily see as the chef is cooking the food…it’s nice!!
The Taberna is located in “Calle Antonio Agustin, 19” which is a parallel road of “Calle de Coso”, one of the main streets of Zaragoza.
We take 3 tapas (from 1,00 to 2,00 euro each one), one “romana squid” and the specialty of the restaurant: “Saputo eggs” ... eggs with truffle!!
Everything was very good!! The owner offers us a glass of “ruco verde” … a typical liquor of Zaragoza!!
The final price was 34,90 euro with a glass of wine!! It was very cheap!!
In conclusion I suggest you to go to Alta Taberna Pedro Saputo”
