“Very good 3 star hotel let down by some of the staff”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 October 2013

Excellent location, just a few mins from the best eating area and 6-7 mins from the main square. The internal noise from other rooms is minimal and we slept very well. There was some late night-early morning noise from the square across the road, but we put this down to the festival being on. The breakfast was pretty basic, but the waitress was very friendly. The room was comfortable, but a little tired in places. The man on the service desk downstairs was very friendly and helpful - his two female colleagues could learn a lot from him. Both of them were disinterested (one seemed to looking at the internet when we were talking to her) and were rude and unhelpful. A shame. But would return to this hotel again for reasons given.

The Orient is located at two of the main streets in Zaragoza; less than a ten minute taxi ride from the rail station. It's a well maintained older hotel. The staff spoke English and were quite helpful. The room was quiet and a good size. The bath was full of amenities and a good shower.

Room Tip: Ask for a room which faces Calle Corso for a view.

I have been to zaragoza for 3 days during the month of May and I stayed at this lovely hotel...
The hotel is very clean and the rooms are very cosy with everything that you need..
The bathroom was lovely...
A minus would be the fact that it didn't have balconys
The advantage of the hotel is the fact that it is very central and close to Calle Alfonso and the Plaza Espana , where you can do all the shopping that you need.It is also close to Plaza del pilar
The staff was ok.
We only had breakfast and the food was tasty and delicious.I have no complaints.
It was not expensive at all so we would come back anytime
The value for money is excelent.

This small hotel is walking distance to all of old town. The rooms are very nice and the parking is a block away at a reduced price.

I gave this a 4, but its more a 3.5; just because there isn't much facilities.

It was perfect for us. The building is attractive and well lite.

Room Tip: Use the Vinci park a block away for discounted rate. 1 block walk to hotel.

Rooms were clean and well presented, good shower and the breakfast was to an acceptable standard. What really impressed me about this hotel is its location: it's a few minutes walk to the Cathedral, shopping district, restaurant and bars.

There is no parking at the hotel, however there is a nearby underground carpark, which cost me around 18euro for overnight parking.

A very good base for exploring Zaragoza.

The hotel is very well located close to the Placa Espana, directly in the center of Zaragoza and so close to the old town. Although the hotel has no direct car park, you just need to walk approx. 100m to a huge public garage. The rooms are big enough and well furnished for a 3*** hotel. Everything is clean and the stuff is friendly and very helpful. The restaurant is actually going through some renovation, this will be finished early February. Except the restaurant you do not notice it while staying there. Wifi is available in every room. Although staying here for business, I would also use it for private visits.

We have stayed in this hotel before and were happy to return. The decor is somewhat drab but the rooms are comfortable and spacious.

The hotel is within walking distance of all major sites and streets full of restaurants and bars. The hotel management emailed us in advance to warn that there was a tram line under construction and so the approach to the hotel could be difficult. This was appreciated, the staff generally were very helpful.

Just a minor niggle. There was no soap in the bathroom, we reported this on the day we arrived but we never got any, the only thing available was small bottles of shampoo.. Apart from this the bathroom was quite satisfactory.
