The rooms are wells sized if basic, the breakfast was far better than most hotels in which we have stayed in europe. The hotel is in a very quiet location so a goods night sleep was had by all.
The cathedral is just a 5/6 minute walk away but i think you would probably need a car if staying for more than a stopover.
Price-quality relationship, is probably right.

We turned up in Zaragoza without a hotel booking and found this little gem of a hotel. Located opposite the Central Market whch is only a 5 minute stroll to lots of bars and restaurants and the tourist sites. Room was small (but we were advised of this when booking in) and basic as is breakfast but for 48 Euros for a double room then this really is very good. Car Parking available but limited spaces charged at 15 Euro per night, although other car parks available if you ask. Very helpful staff who provide maps and information on the city. Great vibrant city which parties into the early hours.

-A modest hotel
-The best factor is the staff , they were really helpful , we phoned them to know the exact location, they sent someone of the receptionist out to the nearby street to guide us and help in parking the car.
-The location was a few steps from three of our targeted landmarks Fuente de la Hispanidad , Basilica de Nuestra and Calle Alfonso.
-The room hasn't any special facilities but we were satisfied
-Breakfast is minimal.
-Free Wifi
-Very calm sleep (no noise)

Hotel did have wifi and tv (with English channels) and was quite clean. Basic rooms. It was a far walk from the train station (an hour) - but there is a bus you can take instead. Good location to travel the city, and close to the main church and city square. Hotel staff were very helpful and had maps of the tourist locations. The rooms were very noisy though and you could really hear people above/beside you and anyone walking in the hallways.

We spent only one night in this hotel, but liked it a lot. It is VERY quiet - I even didn't think that it could be possible, breakfast is wonderful, and the room was very cosy. Location is just perfect - five minutes walk from El Pilar Cathedral, and a very beautiful monastery of Saint Peter behind the building.

Two very small drawbacks - there was some unpleasant smell in the corridors and halls, and there is no hair dryer in the bathroom as well as only one socket which can make things a bit uncomfortable.

The only places we have stayed that were this dirty and dumpy were in small towns in Paraguay. There was mold in the shower and on the wall under the window. The a/c worked for a total of 20 minutes. The parking garage was a joke. You have to have a miniature car to park. If you get street-side, you have light rail running by. Right across the street is the public market. If you like a fish smell, that's great. Finding your room is like a treasure hunt as it appears 3 hotels have been combined with a common lobby. You go upstairs, then downstairs, weaving through corridors and old common rooms. Elevators are roped off as well as stairs. The only positive is the location close to the basilica.

Room Tip: Choose another hotel.

Located on Avenida de Cesar Augusto directly across from the Mercado Central. Unfortunately, in that area the avenue is for the tram (light rail) only. There are a few 10 minute parking for check in on Calle de Predicadores, just west of the tramway.

Once we found parking, we checked in and paid for parking (14E/day) in their underground garage.

Desk staff extremely helpful, directed us to a laundromat (lavandería) within 10-15 minutes walk on Calle Conde de Aranday. Just make sure you close the washer door firmly to latch it before depositing funds. The guy that came in and watched the laundry go around, while comparing the time remaining.. what can I say? I thought he was originally a scammer but now decided he is rather harmless and perhaps a bit troubled.

Obtaining ice in the hotel is like mining for gold. Scarce, limited to 6-8 cubes. Good little tapa bar out the door, left turn to the corner. Left turn and you're there.

We'd stay again, even if we had a car, though likely we will do less driving than the 600+km of this trip.
