My parents stayed here when they visited me in Bilbao. The room was very crammed and the window couldn't open, but the service was good and staff friendly. Nothing special, but it definitely is a place to consider if you plan to be out all day anyways.

This hotel is as you would expect from a budget priced chain, an adequate sized room with a comfortable bed and, in our room, a good sized shower (but no bath if that is your preference). perfectly acceptable for a short city sightseeing break. We stayed in a 4th floor room, on the road side but traffic noise was not a problem. A couple of small gripes; only one towel each, no hand towels, and no enclosed storage space, only open shelving, so nowhere to put valuables or tickets etc out of sight. However, the hotel is ideally placed to walk to all areas of Bilbao, the Guggenheim and Old Town are easily accessible and Bilbao is a beautiful and clean city and is a joy to walk around. It's not far to walk to the hotel from the main square where the airport bus drops off. There are pleasant bars and coffee shops plus grill restaurants right outside the hotel in a pedestrianized area, so we didn't use the hotel restaurant so I can't comment on that. All in all a good choice of hotel when visiting Bilbao.

Cheap, very nice and helpfull staff, very good beds, rooms ok (a bit warm though) and nice breakfast buffet for only 7,50 euro. Meals and drinks are available 24/7 but there's no minibar at my room. Only 15 min walk from Guggenheim, 10 min from the old town and 8 minutes to metrostation. I will come back!

This is the 3rd hotel I have stayed at in Bilbao and can honestly say it was the best in terms of value and service (I have previously stayed in the Hesperia and Sercotel).
The hotel is comfortable and clean. Due to the good value my 2 friends and I booked a room each - cheaper to the same value as sharing elsewhere. The facilities were perfectly acceptable and the location good.
A tip for Bilbao is that it is best to find somewhere central to all the sites and the old town - so that you are a 10-15 minute walk from everything. When I stayed in the Hesperia it was great for the Guggenheim but 20-35 minutes walk from anywhere else. The Ibis is a good location to easily and safely walk to anywhere within 10-15 minutes.
There is no noise at the rear of the hotel where we stayed and even the main road at the front seemed relatively quiet from traffic.

From a personal point of view we had already discussed in our group how good the service was then at the very end of our trip we had a few difficulties. The staff went out of their way to assist in any way they could and made what was a frantic and stressful few hours far easier. I have never known service like it - outstanding staff.

Very well situated with good rooms and well functioning bathroom. Fully soundproof - we did not hear either neighbours or persons in the corridor.
The staff was very friendly and helpfull.
My husband got a little problem with his back because of the bed, but I was fine.
Only problem we found was that 2 lifts was not enough, we always had to wait for a long time (and we stayed at 5. floor)!
We would stay here again if we will ever come to Bilbao again.
