I stayed with friends one night in this hotel when we arrived in Bilboa. It was clean, rooms large and copious breakfast. Found a place to park outside in the street and walked down the hill to pick up the tram to the Guggenheim. This was an excellent choice of a reasonable price for the start of our trip to Northern Spain.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room

Stayed here 2 nights. Fairly easy to find using public transport (bus) from the airport. Just needed one change on Gran Via to catch the 77 bus. The hotel is fairly obvious, as it is a tall building with the logo easily visible. The building is modern, has an underground car park (which I presume is extra), and polished granite flooring seamingly throughout the building. Check-in was efficient, and a quick ride up the lift took us to a large and quiet room which overlooked the main expressway. A short walk to the old town, and not too much further to get to the Guggenheim (which I assume most visitors to Bilbao wish to visit). Bilbao is a bustling town with much to see and do, so don't just do the main sights! The hotel was excellent value, very comfortable, and highly recommended. The staff were all friendly and helpful, so no complaints whatsoever. I still don't know where the "steep hill" is located.

Stayed here as part of a shearings tour. Staff were excellent very friendly and helpful. Food was good and service of a good standard. Hotel was clean and ideally located for walks into and around the town. Air Con was a boon, this hotel is definitely one we will visit again.

Room Tip: Higher floor get less road noise. That said it was not a very noisy location.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and found it to offer a very professional standard all round. Our room was very clean on arrival and kept this way throughout our stay. The common areas were kept clean and tidy at all times. Breakfast was to a high standard and offered everything we expected from a hotel. Staff were welcoming, helpful and attentive. We think that this hotel is a fantastic place to stay when visiting Bilbao and the surrounding areas. Very good value for money, very good hotel. 10/10.... :)

Room Tip: Send an email to the hotel ahead of your arrival and request your preferences.

Stayed for one night in this hotel. Clean, spacious, quiet room, good sleep, (room not on street side), arrived late and parking was full but reception indicated good alternative nearby. Breakfast ok, not super. Good location.

I just stayed at this hotel for a full week. Pros - Room was very large. We had the superior double. Staff was nice - very helpful. Public spaces are modern and attractive. There are a lot of choices at the breakfast buffet. The hotel is connected to the rest of the city by bus and a tram which is several blocks away. It's a quiet area around the hotel, so it's relatively peaceful. There are large windows everywhere with views of the green hills around Bilbao.

Cons: I was traveling with a colleague and there were two twin beds next to each other, so we pulled them apart a bit so we wouldn't feel like we're sharing a bed. It's not a great set-up for room sharing - I strongly recommend separate rooms. The bread at the breakfast buffet was kind of sad - baguettes that weren't fresh, but rather packaged and reheated. Too bad, but fruit, meats, cheese, etc were all good. Some people might not feel comfortable walking back from the old town center (Casco Viejo) at night, but we were always fine with it. The walk uphill back to the hotel is not really too bad, but it can get hot and tiring, especially at the end of a long day of walking. There is not much within close distance of the hotel, so you won't really walk out at night and be near restaurants or bars - you need to walk 10-15 minutes or take the bus from the front door. There is no fitness center, and this is a real negative for business travelers staying a week.

I recommend this hotel as a nice place to stay for a longer visit in Bilbao, or for a group.

Room Tip: Choose the back of the hotel. Nonsmoking is necessary.
