the hotel is very nice, delicious buffet! good price and very comfortable. The hotel is very close to the old city, good possibilities to go for shopping and food. The service is very professional, also good for tourists, just a few minutes from shuttle to the airport. The building is nice and the neighbourhood very calm. The rooms are comfortable, with all accomodations and free internet.

If you book through the internet, you will be put into the older area, where its ok to stay....but the carpets are not up to the mark of a 4* hotel. They provide a complementory wine bottle, but it is served only if you go to the restaurant and order something. But their restaurant opens only at 9:00pm in the night!!!

Dear Customer

Thank you for choosing Hotel Silken Indautxu on your stay . We appreciate your comments, but we would like to clarify that the type of room does not depend on , if you book through internet (due that this is a complementary service free charge for all the guest or extra charge for a premium one ) , but for the rate you book, that offers different kind of rooms according the likes of each one.

Our dinner opening time at our Restaurant is actually at 21:00 p.m. , the common time for us to star dinner, in any case we would study the possibility of an earlier opening time in order to offer a more flexible timing for all our guests.

We hope you´ll be back at our establishment in the future we´d be pleased to make your stay with us as confortable as possible. Your suggestions help us to improve our services .

This is a medium sized four star hotel located on the edge of the central part of Bilbao. The staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are comfortable although we were there in April and the air conditioning in some of the rooms was not working as it still had the winter heater settings.

We could not have asked for a better location for our visit to Bilbao. Centrally located, Silken Indautxu made a trip to the Guggenheim and subsequent bar hopping a piece of cake. We loved the city and highly recommend Bistro Bilbao and Singular, both of which are about 7-8 blocks from the museum. Our room was underwhelming. There was a large stain on the floor right as we entered the room, the bed was firm, and the feel to the entire place was sterile, except that technically, sterile is used to imply clean, which is not exactly correct in this case. The walk to the opposite tower in which our room was located was fairly long, involved small flights of stairs, and there was no bellboy in sight and no offer to help with the bags. The hotel is affordable, so if you are merely looking for a place to crash while enjoying the city, go for it. But I would compare everything except the location to something I would expect from your average Best Western.

Fine hotel in fine situation. Hotel is near city-center, but still so far that sleeping there was relaxative. Friendly staff. Free internet was really slow, and you must change password every 24 hours.

Room tip: Fifth floor included a small balcony.
