We have eaten out at many fine dining restaurants, including michelin starred restaurants and this place matches up with the best of them. Excellent tasting menu with fantastic flavours, local twists, great presentation and fabulous service. Amazing.

Very fresh cuisine with remarkable taste sparks in the dishes. Good advice on the wines and well trained staff. My kind of restaurant, just across the bridge at the Museum Guggenheim.

Absolutely amazing food. We went for the 8 course tasting menu with wine pairings & it was perfection. 3-4 high quality ingredients per dish which allowed you to savour each of the flavours.

We booked a reservation using trip advisor (the fork) at 7:00 PM and asked for a 9:30 seating. We got an email saying it was unconfirmed yet an hour later we got the thumbs up. This was especially fortunate because many restaurants are closed on Mondays. The service was exceptional, the food amazing and the atmosphere breathable (class M planet) - sorry, geek humor. We ordered the ham on cracked bread and the grilled mushrooms with undercooked eggs sauce poured table side. They actually suggested this would be too much food and made a 1/2 portion of the ham which was perfect. The mushrooms were divine and the sauce that came with the ham was also very special. We went for the 24 hour, roasted, 1/4 of young, suckling lamb main course that was epic. In between the various courses were amuse bouche (tuna on grilled red pepper) for example. We topped it off with the cheese plate. The waiter did not try to upset us a wine but we had a lot anyway. All in all a fantastic experience.

A short stroll from the Guggenheim we chanced their would be an opening and were seated graciously. Our waiter steered us away from the tasting menu in favor of dishes using their grill. Once we chose the 1/4 suckling lamb ...... delicious. .... he suggested we only have one starter to share and recommended the splendid mushrooms ... exquisite as was the complementary roasted red pepper. His wine suggestion, Valencia of Reserva from a small vineyard in Rio James was outstanding. My chocolate dessert was as good as any I've tasted. My husband went for the liquid nitrogen frozen option which was more theater than taste in my opinion. Tables around us were filled with locals, always a good sign.
