San Sebastian was the third stop on my boyfriend and I's trip through Spain and Portugal. We stayed here for two nights. We arrived here around 11:30am which was a few hours before check-in. When we got there, the front desk attendants told us our room would be ready in 20-30 minutes, so we left our luggage and went to grab breakfast before checking in. Unfortunately, we ended up waiting over an hour. The check-in process seemed a little unorganized, but they did offer us a glass of cava and water while we waited which was very nice.

The room was pretty small, but it was very clean and comfortable. The AC worked really well despite the heat wave outside! We had booked a room with a king bed, but we got two large twins pushed together. It was functional, but a little awkward for a couple!

The location was right across the bridge from the "old town" where all of the famous pintxo bars are, but we were able to walk everywhere very easily. There were also quite a few bars and restaurants right near the hotel.

The hotel offered breakfast for a fee, but we did not try it. We did often use the coffee corner though! Free espresso, coffee, and bottled water that opened at 12.

While the hotel was everything we needed, the price seemed VERY high. It was comparable to other hotels we looked at in the area, though, so it could just be typical for San Sebastian and/or the time we were there.

This hotel has a perfect location to explore Donostia. It is situated in a nice neighborhood and all main attractions are within easy walking distance. The room was nice with good bed and shower. It was very noisy though, with noise from the hallways. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. The car could be parked in a garage a few blocks away. The hotel has a small gym that serves its purpose.

Our first stop on a driving tour of Northern Spain and Portugal.
Found the hotel fairly easily, but check in rather abrupt, and nobody to help us with our bags or to show us to our room. Instructions on how to get to the garage parking once we had unloaded the car were useless, so having tried to follow them we had to return to the hotel for further instructions! However it was nice to have underground parking and not have to worry about our car during our stay in San Sebastian.
Hotel in a central position and walking distance to the old town and beaches. Hotel is fairly new and has a rather corporate feel, but standard of rooms is good, as too is the breakfast selection, with an option for various egg dishes cooked to order as well.

A good hotel with some useful facilities, particularly free hot and cold drinks between 12.00 and 20.00 and free minibar in room. Had a slightly corporate feel but nevertheless a good place to stay. We stayed at a cheaper hotel in Bilbao which unlike this one included breakfast and had better toiletries in the room but really this was fine. Breakfast at 15 euros per person seemed expensive but it was a decent selection and it was relaxing to eat from the buffet before going out in the mornings. A good location close to river, sea, Kuursal and train and bus stations with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.
