“Quirky hotel with a movie theme”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

Every room in this hotel is named after a movie star! Affordable compared to the more traditional grand hotels in the centre of town. The hotel is not located in the centre of town, about 10 minutes by car. Taxis are easy to call (just ask reception) and there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel on a direct line that ends in the centre of town.
Room are clean and quiet. Housekeeping responded within 10 minutes to our requests. Concierge is knowledgeable about restaurants, and we had a couple of very good recommendations from him.
Bonus: there is a very good deli down the street selling very good spanish charcuterie.

We stayed here for two nights. We couldn't fault the room, they even supplied us with free Cava and some lovely biscuits which we thought was a nice touch. The room was really modern and just the right size to sleep in as quite frankly in San Sebastian that is all you would want to do.

We loved the city and this hotel was perfectly situated to get anywhere. It was a 20 minute walk to get the the Old town which is where all the amazing Pintxo places were.

We would stay there again. We had the breakfast in the cafe as opposed to the restaurant, and the prices were very reasonable and the coffee was far better than a Starbucks.

Room Tip: Think of a director that you like and try and get a room that is themed after them. We would have c...

Loved this hotel. It's quirky, unique and clean. The staff were helpful and they provide secure parking
We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on it but would happily stay here again if we returned to San Sebastián
No complaints.

We finished our Northern Spain Tour here staying 2 nights. Great theme throughout and a good sized room. Staff were very helpful and breakfast choices were great. We finished with full lunch in the restaurant and the chicken cannelloni was perfect. A decent walk to the Old Town and the beach, but pleasant sites.

Very helpful and nice staff.. For the price, the hotel was good. Loved the lounge/library corner! Location was good for us as we took the coach to san sebastian.. it's literally a minute walk from the coach station.. The beach / old town is 20 min walk away.. not a bad walk at all.. There were issues with the free wifi though..

We stayed here 2 nights in july 2014. We were happily surprised over the big room we got and the first impression of the hotel. The hotel was located a 15 min walk from the beack and 20 min from the old towbn - but that was no problem at all. Great hotel and would consider it again.

I had researched various hotels in San Sebastian and this was one of the more affordable one. Largely because it is a 15-20mins walk to the old city and the beach. Not a big issue for us as we enjoy walking. The room that we had was huge but it really bothered me that the wifi was totally unstable. Staff were also grumpy and unfriendly. I suppose this hotel is ok if you are looking for a comfy room that is not too pricey. Handy to have some grocery shops nearby.
