“Great wet weather diversion”
Reviewed 9 June 2013

In common with many according to the locals we had a wet weekend in SS. Thank goodness then for La Perla spa! Lovely experience; lots of hydro pools with different types of experiences, from hot to cold, bubbles to tides, saunas, steam rooms, exercise machines etc. Get there early though - we arrived at 10am on Sunday morning but by midday it was starting to get uncomfortably full. A great way to spend a wet morning in SS.

“Enjoyable 2 hours”
Reviewed 1 June 2013 via mobile

The spa is made up of a variety of thalassotherapy pools- hot and cold with jets of water at different pressures. There are a number of saunas too. Nowhere to swim though. All very pleasant but I feel a 2 hour stay in the spa itself is plenty. Watch the time though, you will be charged if you go over your time, so factor for shower snd changing. You will need a towel, cap and shower stuff - nothing is provided, which I was surprised at. All the areas are very clean but far from luxurious - more like center parcs than champneys! Towel hire was 1 euro 20. Make sure you put your towel through the shute when you enter, otherwise you will have a very wet towel!

“Great Spa”
Reviewed 26 January 2013

A definite must in Winter! Fantastic visit to the Spa whilst it was pouring with rain outside. Left very relaxed and content after two hours wandering around the different areas. If you're feeling brave in winter go run and dive into the ocean - it was fantastic.

“Great fun”
Reviewed 18 November 2012 via mobile

Went for a couple of hours in the pools, taking sdvantage of a 2-for1 entry deal during the weekdays as it's their 100th anniversary. It was great, very relaxing with a variety of activities to keep us entertained. Also had a massage which was reasonable value. The whole outfit is very clean and professionally run. P.s. you will need swimming trunks, cap and towel to go into the pools. Cap is available for purchase and towels can be hired.
