The architecture is astonishing, creating such a great vibe when exploring the streets, each having a character of their own.
There are of course loads of unique shops and restaurants everywhere you go.
I can really walk her all day.

It was not a good introduction to this city when we visited the Old Town. It was Sunday evening, the place was really busy with young kids who were using the lanes as toilets!!! The bars were overflowing and you would have been lucky to get a seat anywhere. What was distressing was the rubbish that was around. Not a good intro to this city.
Explore the old town and enjoy the culinary delights that it has to offer. The best advice is to do your research so you know the best places to go and what their signature dishes are or sign on for a food tour - well worth the money if you are a novice.
Parte Vieja was my favourite place in San Sebastian. I had so much fun there just by trying different pintxos and wine in each bar. Lovely atmosphere. I hope I will get a chance to walk those streets again.
Awesome streets to have a stroll and stop off at multiple bars for drinks. The food is fantastic! Only downside is the number of people you have to contend with walking around
We really enjoyed this wonderful old town filled with shops, restaurants, tapas bars, etc. I highly recommend walking and eating in this area. We stayed in an apartment here and it got very crowded and noisy in August, so I would recommend staying just ouside of the old quarter.
