What's good: comfortable and spacious room and very clean; good location for airport and Palma centre and close to a local beach; nice views from pool bar; friendly staff; fabulous buffet breakfast; left luggage facility was very handy.

Less good: Food over-priced in restaurant - €13 for a cheese sandwich the size of my (small) hand!!! (But there is a supermarket nearby, discovered once we'd been stung); A toilet is needed near pool bar area and it would have been nicer to have sunbeds rather than deckchairs in pool bar area; it was quite noisy - while the atrium is very nice, it does funnel noise from the ground floor - we could make out music and conversation up on the 5th floor - earplugs are a must.

Doors closing on corridor are loud in rooms. Pool towels were great but not always easily available. Lovely small gym. Long walk in heat to palma for a newspaper! Lovely local beach at €15 for two beds and a brolly; beers and bites cafe great for sandwiches and water. Take plenty with you as there are no other ships nearby!
Nearest supermarket - eroski - is 0.2 miles away.

Stayed in one of their 2 bedroom suites and it was absolutely stunning. Very modern hotel with excellent gym, roof top bar and restaurant. The location isn't that close to Palma city centre but handy for beaches, airport and the brand new conference centre next door. €15 day parking charge was a bit cheeky given the location though.

Wife and I spent 6 nights at this hotel. Chose room on The Level . Staff were very helpful at The Level reception, especially Marc who helped on several queries.

Having stayed at a Melia hotel in Alicante I was a little disappointed at this hotel with The Level options here. I expected it to be adults only, it was not. The selection of drinks in the evenings was very limited, usually only four spirits and wines. On one occasion I wanted to drink Barcardi to be told at 8pm it was the "wrong" time and was not available. Minor points but below the standard I expected from a Melia hotel. It was obviously built for business clients.

Those were the negative points, on the positive side; the room was of a very good size and always well kept. The service in The Level restaurant was very efficient; readily available was a light cooked breakfast to order. Tapas selection during the day in the restaurant was very good.

The position of the hotel for us was excellent. A gentle stroll to and from the beach during the day. The town was just a gentle stroll along the prom or travel by bus from just outside the rear of the hotel. Going East from the hotel along the prom and further on there was a great selection of restaurants and bars. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and would return.
