“Cosy cellar restaurant serving interesting Spanish dishes.”
Reviewed 1 November 2011

We visited this restaurant as it was near to our hotel. It has an upstairs bar and the main restaurant is in the cellar. Unfortunately it was a very quiet Wednesday evening and we were the only people in the restaurant. We chose the menu del dia, 3 courses for 21 euros, including a drink. The Mallorcan bread appetiser was very tasty. My prawn and rice starter was very
good. The main course of hake in a seafood sauce was tasty but the fish was a bit overwhelmed by the
sauce. The mango sorbet dessert was refreshing. Good value for money but a shame it was so quiet.

“A good choice for menu del día in the centre of Palma”
Reviewed 19 February 2011

This is the first time I have been since they changed the chef last year. The menu del dia is still good but perhaps not quite as good as it used to be. For 14€ I would expect a little better service. There were three choices of starter, main and dessert, including a vegetarian option. I had the chick pea and cod stew followed by chicken madras. Both were tasty and interesting but nothing out of this world. Dessert was a choice of various ice creams and cakes. When we went in the restaurant was fairly busy but towards the end of our meal there was no one else there but it still took the two waiting staff a long time to attend us. The restaurant itself is a nice place to dine: modern, minimal and attractive. The menu del dia also includes a choice of a glass of water, wine or beer.
