Owner description: A wide, tree-lined avenue full of bars, pubs and cafes: a good place to start your evening.

Its beautiful and clean-fab for a stroll, shopping if you wish or watch the world go by in the bars/cafes (or like i did...get husband settled in a beautiful cafe/bar and then go shopping;)

i don't think (like the other reviewer said) I'll ever get bored of it either.. We've done lots of city breaks over the years but Palma is my favourite and so is Passeig des born-we always gravitate to this area. Its got the sights and beautiful architecture (I also agree with the cleaner version of barcelona reviewer)

Arguably, one of the best locations in town... for its architecture, the two beautiful fountains on either end, the amazing shopping, the bars, the views of the Cathedral and Almudaina Palace. I never get tired of walking through it.

Nice and large side walk, beautiful surroundings and an amazing place to go for a walk during the night while having an ice-cream!

This is a quasi-pedestrian walk, going from the sea to the Plaza de Juan Carlos I, also commonly known as the Turtles' Square. If you wish to know why, look at the fountain...
There are some nice cafés there, and the walk is a meeting point for pre-teenagers, but the actual interest are the roundabouts: the Cathedral, the Old City, etc...
By the way, do not forget to visit the Palau Solleric, which is the most interesting thing there...

This area is great for shopping- from Mulberry & Louis Vuitton to Zara and H & M, and not forgetting C & A which has been there forever.
There is also plenty of choice for food- McDonalds (always handy for a bathroom stop) and also a branch of Cappuccino that serves food all day.
But afterwards you can sit on one of the stone benches in the shade and people watch/cool down/rest your feet/look at the wonderful architecture and the vibrantly colourful flowers.
Something for everyone, and a lovely place to be.
