“Brilliant!”

Superb modern tapas, several created by the industrious and diligent chef. Service excellent and prices very reasonable. We'll be back.

“Great food and fantastic wine”
Reviewed 1 August 2013

Great food and fantastic wine
We were a little bit disappointed our first couple of days in Palma because we didn’t find any really good restaurant, and then we found UMMO!
What a delight!
Good service, good food and good wine.

“Small and popular place”
Reviewed 28 July 2013 via mobile

We visited the restaurant on a saturday at 2130 and it was fully booked but we were allowed to sit at a high table near the bar. We paid 40 euro for 5 tapas, one dish, two glasses of wine and a bottle of water. The tapas was prepared on white bread and roasted a bit hard. The foie gras and cod tapas was really good. The spinach pasta was average.

“Great Tapas”
Reviewed 26 July 2013 via mobile

Probably the best Tapas we have ever tasted. Superbly presented and taste to match. Nice local wines and all at reasonable prices. Only slight negative for me was that we didn't find the staff very welcoming, they went around their business in an efficient manner but never really left us with a wow service experience . It didn't spoil the evening but it would help improve the overall meal experience if they servers raised their game a little . But definitely worth a visit for the tapas alone

“Extraordinary food at a bargain price”
Reviewed 24 July 2013

Had dinner here on a Wednesday in the middle of July, based on the excellent reviews on Tripadvisor. Needless to say, we were not disappointed! We had booked a table for 20.45 the night before, but this was hardly necessary, as we occupied the only other table in the restaurant. By 10 o'clock, however, the restaurant was full.

We ordered only tapas, 4 each per person, which were between 2.50 and 3.80 euros (the most expensive being the foie gras). Of these, the pata candy (meatball-like concoction with an apricot and cloves sauce) and the grilled foie gras with ginger jam were the real stand-outs, and (at the risk of sounding like Jamie Oliver) among the best single dishes I have ever had! However, all of the dishes were simply explosiobs of flavour and were very well compsed and balanced.

For dessert, we had the baked pineapple with coconut chips and yoghurt and the cheesecake, which were both very good. Altogether, the bill for 8 tapas, two dessert, a bottle of white wine and a bottle of water came at 56 euro, which I consider to be quite the steal for a dinner like the one we had at Ummo! I heartily recommend this restaurant to all food lovers stayi
