“Nice clean hotel”
Reviewed 24 June 2011

Booked a superior room with balcony. We had our own sun loungers, table and chairs.
There are not enough sun loungers by the pool, but in all fairness to the hotel, the sun loungers "hogs" were around.
The restaurant was nice and the buffet breakfast was good, you can even get an omelette cooked to order. The evening meal deal for 15 Euros was good quality for three courses.
Drink was well priced and snacks in the bar were cheap. The staffs are hard working and friendly.
There is free high-speed Internet connection in the hotel and a free small internet "cafe" in the lounge which was never mentioned.
The hotel is clean and comfortable. We took advantage of using the spa for just 5 Euros for the length of our stay. (7 days).
We were not getting picked up for our flight until 4 pm on our day of departure. The hotel told us no problem. There is a room where you can lock you suit cases away. They allowed us to use the spa changing room to get a shower and get changed. We could use the hotel facilities during the day of departure.
If I go back to the island, I will be staying at this hotel again.

Very freindly and helpful staff. The rooms where cleaned and fresh towels daily and the pool was great? One downside more sun beds and parasols are needed.
Overall score 8/10

The travel agency that sold us the trip promised us a room with a balcony which we also paid for. When we arrived at the hotel we got a room without balcony. The reception staff explained to us that the agreement between the hotel and our travel agency did not include rooms with balcony. Even though it wasn't the hotel's fault, they upgraded us to a room with balcony without charging us for it.

Our overall impression of the stay is also very positive: good breakfast, friendly staff and clean and modern hotel.

The hotel was slightly further out of the city centre than expected - this caused no problems as the buses are regular and taxis affordable, the sea and it's promenade only a couple of blocks away. The hotels public areas - outside especially are stylish and maintained to a high standard, the pool area had plenty of tables and loungers. Our room was on the 7th floor which meant we were above any street noise and had wonderful views, sea and castle. The room had contemporary decor and a balcony which gave the room a larger feeling. Palma is a delightful city break location with other ares of the island readily accessible.

Room Tip: Higher the better for the best views

We stayed here for 3 nights in June.

This hotel was distinctly average and did not live up to the website! Our main criticism was that the majority of the staff in the hotel were very unfriendly and lacked a smile/hello. It felt that we were bothering them when asking questions which we had to do as there was no information provided about the hotel or spa services in the rooms.

The hotel room was clean and tidy. Its location is a little out of town (20 minute walk) which we didn't mind. We didn't eat in the hotel as there were many excellent restaurants in town.

In our opinion this hotel is not worth its 4 *rating, we have stayed in better hotels with less stars.

My friend and I went for a week of sightseeing, relaxing and feasting on tapas. The hotel is modern, very clean with great spa, pool and fitness facilities. The rooms are a little on the small side for a week, but we requested one with a balcony which was ideal for an afternoon glass of Cava with a lovely view of the castle and the harbour area. The breakfast was super, as were the snacks provided in the hotel bar and pool area. The staff were always very friendly and the receptionists helped with all of our queries such as the best way to get to a nice beach (bus no. 3 just 2 mins from hotel, try Illetas beach, get off at last bus stop), the best fish and tapas restaurants in town and ordering many a taxi for us. All in all Palma is a great city with plenty to see and the hotel is situated perfectly allowing for a nice 10-15 minute stroll along the harbour to the old town. I would definately stay here agian, maybe just in a suite next time.

Junior suite is spacious and excellent, has a large bath with jacuzzi setting. Blackout blinds, quiet in the rooms and free wifi. Down side is there is large TV with only 3 english channels (2 news, 1 old movies). So bring a few movies on usb as you can pulg and play a usb in the tv. Also little info in english in the room or hotel about Palma, however receptionists knowledgeable and willing to help. Pool area small but clean and comfortable with loungers and umbrellas. Nice pool bar.
Food good, but resturant decor clean and modern but nothing to write home about.
Spa excellent with may treatments at good prices. However to use indoor pool, hot tub etc... costs an extra 10 euros per person for approx 1.5 hrs.
20 minute walk to the cathaderal for them hotel at an easy pace.

Room Tip: junior suite or room with terrace
