The staff at this hotel were notably efficient. No smalltalk only important information. I needed a quiet room as on business and always have articles to write up at night on trips away. My room was excellent, large cool and very quiet. The sleeping and washing arrangements worked well and the large buffet breakfast was one of the better ones. Good scrambled egg, hard to find usually. Offered a coffee top up more than twice, not felt rushed to vacate my table.
Great location for road or train and only twenty minutes to the airport. I would not hesitate to book a return visit.

Stayed for 3 nights on my birthday (Weds/Thurs/Fri) last week. From airport at hotel at night (9pm) took less than 15 mins and costs about €22 (they add money on to what you see on the meter depending on how much luggage you have). Took less than 10 mins to get to airport (thus cheaper) at 7am.

Very modern hotel. Very black: seats, walls, floor in lobby and eating area (not the bedrooms!) - loved it. There is an outdoor area where you can order drinks and food til late. Cocktails €8.50. I had the best cheese burger I think I've ever had here and it was only about €12 with chips. Fast free wifi works outside. Got a free glass of Cava each on first night (personally not a fan but great for you wine lovers!).

Room: pretty spacious. Huge bathroom. Powerful shower. Complimentary shampoo, soap, comb, dental kit etc which is always a nice touch. Beds are a bit weird. We ordered a double but it was just two singles pushed together. No big deal although they did slide about sightly. Boyfriend hated them, had v stiff neck after first night (for 3 days), think this is combo of bed quality, pillows and being laid under the aircon stream. I can sleep anywhere so no complaints from me except air con surprisingly 'too cold' at night I found (but too warm with it totally off) so had to get the thin quilt out of the wardrobe. If not, the bed linen is literally just sheet.

My only complaint about the room is the wifi. Could only get 1 bar of signal at times, so slow, then it just lost connection very shortly after. It was completely unusable. Very annoying and poor.

I brought US plug adaptors instead of Euro ones (duhhh) luckily reception lent me their last one for €5 deposit. So relieved although was told you can buy them at nearby El Corté Ingles if required.

Breakfast: help yourself buffet. Good selection of bread, meats and most importantly, scrambled egg and bacon. You can have as much as you want and even take it to the outside tables if you don't want to eat indoors.

Hotel is in a very nice area, 10 min walk from the 'main' bit (Cathedral, fountain, sightseeing bus stop) and I did not see any hotels in Palma that looked better than this one (from the outside obviously)! so recommend this to everyone. Lots of nice restaurants, cafes, shops around. Did not see any groups of partygoers/clubbers around. I would just say, you can get to the 'main' bit 2 ways: main road or side streets. We took the side streets in the day but at night they were a bit shady. Nothing happened but in parts dimly lit, quiet, with no-one around and no signage. I would say stick to the main roads!

I would definitely stay here again

Had a great stay at this hotel. We had one day and night in Palma after a beach holiday so this was a perfect location for us. The parking and traffic was a little crazy on the Saturday we arrived but we were lucky to get parked on the street outside. It is pay and display and you can buy a ticket for all weekend which made it a little easier as the hotel offers no parking. The reception staff were helpful and spoke excellent English. We had two rooms - the only down side being that they were on different floors. We had booked online and there was no option to ask for adjoining rooms but they do have them so call if that is what you are looking for. The hotel is within a very short walk of the shops and restaurants so ideal if you just want to wander round. They rooms are well equipped (though no iron) but they give you complimentary drinks in the fridge which was a nice touch and there was a good selection of toiletries to use. The beds were a good size and comfortable. The only complaint I would have is that it is noisy! The walls are thin and the traffic outside was a bit annoying - however, in went the earplugs and that certainly helped. Other than that I would certainly recommend it and I would stay there again. I just wish I'd spent a little more time in Palma as it is a lovely city.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor to try and avoid street noise

This was grand on a modern scale and we appreciated it. Got to our room with gusto and over our stay felt at home here. Comfortable beds, light bathroom and slick staff. The shops are very close and we could walk all around the sights and stop off somewhere for a livener before heading back for the night. Great bar and some characters staying alongside ourselves. Highly commended.

Superb location for stores and sight seeing. Accommodating staff in an immaculate hotel. The design is unique, the dark room was different but we found we slept very well, with no city noise. The breakfast is laid out with fruit, yoghurt and hot eggs, bacon etc, we ate well. The service was first class in the restaurant, bar and at reception. Our weekend was a mix of innovative art, top class dining and time with each other. Stay here with confidence.

Stayed at HM Jaime III for an extended weekend in August.

We had a room with a balcony on the 6th floor, and we were very happy to have paid the little extra to get this room with a view across the street and the little park.

The room itself was very spacious with minimalist design, that we like. The bathroom felt a bit outdated, though.

We ate at the hotel restaurant one evening and found the meal delicious and decently priced. There seemed to be a good crowd at the hotel restaurant, especially outside, all evenings and it was a nice place to have a drink before venturing out for dinner elsewhere as well.

The breakfast was included in the hotel room price and although the selection was not as extensive as I would have hoped for, everything on display was fresh and delicious.

The location was very good in the vicinity of the old town, harbor, and shopping areas. We walked basically everywhere from the hotel. There is for example an El Corte Ingles department store not too far away.

Staff was very helpful when we asked a couple of touristy questions on how to get to certain places printing us also train timetables etc. All in all everybody was really friendly.

Room Tip: Pay a little extra to get a room facing the street/park and on the upper floors.

Great location, right next to the shopping area, a price that was very attractive, a nice contemporary/clean finish, breakfast included, helpful staff. What's not to like.

Stayed here with family for a last night in Palma for shopping and dinner.

Yes, you could criticize the decor in the corridors for being dark - but it's a design thing.
Yes, the noise between rooms are slightly louder than you would want - but I always expect noise from traffic at a city centre hotel so earplugs are always in the case.

All told this is a great find - I liked everything about it's simplicity and design, a great price - I will definitely be back.

Make sure you ask for a room at the front (with balcony)
