Not a bad hotel but reading the reviews expected more
Location is not bad easy to walk everywhere however you do need to walk up a rather long hill which in Spanish heat can be quite harsh.
The walls in the rooms are very thin and they start cleaning other rooms and hallways at 8 am. The staff are very noisy moving around furniture and makes it difficult to sleep in. I would not stay here again. For the price I am pretty sure you can find a better place.

A very pleasant stay in August 2014 . Staff Friendly and helpful. Room excellent. Clean. Good food and an excellent location close to the centre of the city. I find no faults. A really good experience

Room Tip: Avoid floor 6 near the jazz bar

Stayed here with my wife on a city break at the weekend.

The hotel has recently undergone a makeover and our room was really nice, clean and had a huge comfortable bed. The bathroom was stylish with a rainforest shower. Toiletries were plentiful as you would expect from a Spanish hotel. The room was quiet, too, and I didnt hear any noise from any rooms next door.

The hotel is in a good location near the harbour and the main restaurant area hidden within the lanes. There are two swiming pools. One on the roof which is RAMMED at all times, it seems. And one on the ground floor which is less busy and a bit more chilled. I heard that the roof pool opens at 9.30am but spent no time there.

We ate lunch twice in the hotel and the food was excellent. Iberian Ham and warm lobster salads. It was really quite competitively priced, too. There was little point in eating here in the evening as you are walking distance to dozens of great restaurants.

As a point of refernce the hotel is around 5 miles and about 13 euros in a taxi from the Airport.

Special mention must be given to Javi, who works on the front desk. A lovely guy who is extremely helpful and no request is too much trouble. A real credit to a very good hotel and a pleasure to deal with.

We will be back, for sure.

Room Tip: Floor 5 has recently been renovated

We stayed at the Saratoga for a full week and found it exceptional. The room was compact, but well appointed. The breakfast was an absolute gourmet delight. The hotel staff was quick to assist in any way possible. The food in the restaurant was marvelous, but a bit costly for the modest traveler. Though we didn't speak Spanish, the staff helped us at every turn. The twin beds made into a full size one is cute, but isn't a true queen sized bed. The sheets separate the two sections allowing the beds to separate during the night. I would like to see that changed. The tv was all in Spanish, but I didn't go to Majorca to watch tv. I loved the hotel and the city.

Room Tip: Higher the better to see the cathedral.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends. The hotel was close to the centre, very quiet and had 2 pools! It was also very good value for money. The only down point is that there is only limited sun loungers so be sure to get to the pool early if you want one.

Located just 5 mins from the marina and just beside the shopping street. Breakfast was decent, love the asparagus and the fact u can dine outdoors at the plaza.
Amenities is good with a pool at the plaza and another at the rooftop witha nice view, although it can be quite cramped).
Stayed at room 222, had to drag my luggage up a few steps before reaching my room. Wifi in the room is almost non existent, had to open my door and stand near the door way to get signal. Towels were dirty with stains and strands of hair, had to replace them with some reluctance from the staff. Found a cockroach in the bathroom by the mirror.

Decided to leave our reasonable family apartment accommodation in Cala D'or a day early and have a night in Palma prior to return flight to UK. So glad we did. Palma is a beautiful and very cosmopolitan city that we've previously only passed through en route to resorts. The hotel is really well situated to walk around the city with easy access to lots of great shops and tourist sites. The hotel is beautiful - clean, with great facilities and the views from the small swimming pool on the roof are spectacular. We had superior rooms which were lovely with very effective air-con on what was a hot night in the city. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast - something for everyone. Service on reception was slick and efficient. Will definitely go back and would recommend for a Palma city break.

Room Tip: Not really sure
