Very central. We had a double superior room, with a balcony at the back (6th floor) overlooking the city. Large room and bathroom. Modern and clean. Breakfast excellant and included in the price. Despite being on a busy road, there was no noise at the back and we slept with the french doors open. Friendly, English speaking staff. It really was a very nice experience.

Stayed 4 nights in a double room. A nice clean modern hotel at a bargain price. Hotel is 5 mins walk from La Ljota area were there are plenty of bars and tapas restaurants.
Hotel is in a great loaction for the cathedral, modern art gallery, plaza mayor and only just over 5 min walk to bus stop to take you to and from the airport. Plenty of shops on this street as well as within 5-10 minute walking distance. Bus for Miro's house stops just across the road. Breakfast was very good a choice of bacon, eggs, cereal, spanish meats and cheeses, croissants and pain au chocs along with fruit juice and tea.
All in all a good 3 star hotel which is clean, modern and in a great location. I would recommend a stay.

we spent four nights here, having been 10 years ago when we were living in Ibiza and it was worth trying again, the renovations in 2007 have brought it really up to scratch. Location is perfect, the old town easily within walking distance, the room was perfectly adequate (we took a standard room, sea view only from the superior rooms on the 5th. floor upwards but the sea view from the roof terrace is free!) Tip: try to book a room on the rear of the hotel- less street noise! Breakfast buffet was very good, staff very friendly, altogether a hotel to be recommended- especially if your wife is a "shop until you drop" and you are an "eat until you are beat" hubby!

We stayed her for 5 nights, and loved being in the heart of Palma's beautiful old town. The hotel was excellent with a modern, trendy bedroom, fantastic ( large) shower and a large terrace overloking the Cathedral and Port- just right for long lazy afternoons in the sun.

Breakfasts were huge, good quality and with a great variety. The only thing we mised was a comfy lounge, or bar for a late night drink.

Location is fantasticc, for shopping, sightseeing, eating and drinking. A great choice.

A good, and very comfotable, hotel situated right in the centre of town within walking distance of most places and with a bus stop almost outside for anywhere else. The roof terrace is great for a evening drink with views over the harbour & Cathedral

We loved our stay at this hotel, paid only 80 euro per night for the privilege and that included their substantial breakfast.

The Almudaina is located on Avda Jaime III, a long busy street with classy and expensive shops. The location is superb as you are close to lots of small (and large!) restaurants, bars and the ever-wonderful El Corte Inglés store.

Our room was located on the 5th floor and was street facing. The terrific soundproofing meant their was no annoying noise from below. The room size, its facilities, the great bathroom and the balcony impressed us. Internet access is available in one of the few public areas (1 euro for 10 minutes use). There is elevator access to each floor.

The staff was most helpful and friendly, both front desk and domestic. Breakfast was great with plenty of choices i.e. pastries, cereals, cold meats and cheeses, breads and a selection of teas and coffees.

Although we loved all of this, the jewel in the crown was the hotel's solarium on the top floor. The views from there towards the cathedral and port were superb (see pictures). Sun loungers were provided, plus a nice quiet area too where one could sit in the shade and admire the views.

The major tourists sights are all easily within walking distance or, if you prefer, the local tourist bus service can be found about 8 minutes stroll from the hotel.

Will we go back? You bet! For the location, service, the terrific room, facilities and breakfast we feel it just can't be beaten.

A great winter getaway in January ....The hotel is situated on the busy street Jaime III, close to many shops, restaurants and bars. We booked a superior double room for €130 a night inc. breakfast. The superior rooms are at the back of the hotel that face the sea and cathedral. Magnificent views across the port, and very very quiet. I am glad we didn't have a room facing onto the busy street. The balcony was large, and so was the room. Overall very clean, and the beds comfortable. Only negative thing I would say is that the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor. There is no door / curtain to open and close, so the water did leak out. Not a major issue and wouldn't stop us returning again if we visit Palma. All the staff were very friendly, discreet and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, they offered real coffee, not instant or American Filter, they had Nespresso machines so you can make an expresso etc etc if you wish.
