in the heard of Majorca's beautiful city Palma de Mallorca. Its one footstep away from the center, the Museum Es Baluard and entering in the hotel you are step into the heaven of peace! The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the stuff is as helpful as it can be. The breakfast,
included in the room rate is a great buffet and if you want something extra? Just order it!
I felt in a discrete way at home.

Room Tip: the room in in front of the swimming pool with the cozy terrace I loved

We have just spent 4 nights here enjoying a city break with a difference. This hotel is more like an excellent B & B with a swimming pool, which when in Palma is exactly what we needed. To return to the pool after a days sightseeing is a real treat. The villa is lovely, spacious airy rooms and friendly staff in a great location. We will definitely return and recommend without hesitation.

staying in this hotel now. the location is brilliant. the ambiance is fantastic. but the details are missing. the linens are not great. the pillows are odd and the cases don't always quite cover them. the mini bar has a bottle of 2011 Vina Sol, a RUBBISH white wine from 2 years ago...??? and they have little bottles of liquor, but no tonic. ?? you can get this by calling the "room service" number on the phone, but why not put things you would drink/use in the mini bar?
and hey, this island makes GREAT wine, why are they skimping on this detail?
the artwork on the walls may (or may not) be a joan miro, but all are only prints or posters with cheap frames. this really doesn't go with great, expensive kilims & antique rugs and proper mallorquin antique beds & furniture!
great towels, a HUGE bathroom with enormous bath & separate toilet & bidet, but you go down to breakfast, and it is is so confused and expensive and doesn't have quality ingredients (except good coffee) so as to not be worthwhile. the breakfast room is also not very well furnished, it just doesn't feel like a "dedicated" space. it's just part of the bar area (gorgeous), but "tancat!" "closed!" reads the sign on the outside. they don't make a big deal of their breakfast, it's an after-thought, which is a shame. freshly squeezed orange juice is the best thing, which is evident with the NOISE the machine makes in the kitchen, which is really disruptive while you are trying to have a nice, quiet breakfast. sad, cheap toast & little cheap packets of butter/jams & rubbery or browned-bottomed scrambled eggs....i really thought there might be wild mushrooms in my eggs this morning........it was burned-brown bits. hmmmmm.
EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN ROOMS, especially the bathrooms.
very small tv with ONLY ONE ENGLISH CHANNEL, even though the staff had no idea & they advertise that there are at least 10 english channels.
gorgeous swimming pool. quiet rooms with double glazed windows & good, although large air conditioner.
pleasant staff, if a bit clueless and/or disaffected or indifferent sometimes. have enjoyed ourselves in general, but for over $300US a room? i would have thought to be paying half that or less. we definitely expect more for that amount of money.
i showed this hotel to a friend from mallorca, who has travelled all over the world, she agreed, so it's not just me.
it's the kind of hotel i like...not too many rooms. personal (ish) service. quiet little neighbourhood in an old mallorquin house with antique furniture.
but if i were in charge? the details would be there.

This hotel is in an old building in the heart of Palma, so it has the associated benefits as well as the downsides.

Our room was very comfortable and nicely appointed, approximately at the level of the pool and garden (though a few steps were needed to reach it). The bathroom also had a few steps to reach it from the bathroom, which was fine for us.

The pool and garden area were lovely and very relaxing as a place to enjoy a drink after a day of sightseeing.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and responsive.

The location is excellent, within an easy walk to most of the main sights and restaurants in Palma and a quick bus or cab ride to the others. We had rented a car for the first part of our trip and dropped off our luggage at the hotel before returning the car to the car rental site. Via car, it was a bit hard to locate but the cabs didn't seem to have any trouble.

The breakfast area is cozy. We ate there once and got coffee from local shops on other days.

The main downside would be accessibility for any one with mobility impairments. Overall we thought Hotel San Lorenzo was excellent, gave an authentic feel for Old Palma and had much to recommend.

Beautiful, quaint, traditional hotel set in Old Town of Palma. Perfect location. Minutes to superb tapas bars and seafront & the abundance of shops. Try 13% for gorgeous wine & Tapas. Use Trip's app for 'near me now' to find it, but literally 5 mins stroll. Hotel has superb wifi in bedrooms so you can research where your going to go whilst enjoying a coffee outside by the pool. We had spacious superior room on the ground floor which opened out onto pool & terrace. Small but we always got a table/sun loungers as only stayed an hour before going out. You can have breakfast brought to your room or onto terrace. Can pick & choose from breakfast menu. Very competitively priced. Fresh towels around the pool. Hotel exceptionally clean & staff very helpful. No noise from back street for us. Only recommendation would be to pack a small jar of coffee as we couldn't buy any anywhere apart from decaf. Hotel provided a kettle & cups & minibar big enough for milk but not enough coffee sachets but loads of tea, but best pack your own if you want to enjoy a coffee before breakfast.

Room Tip: Recommend spacious superior downstairs, French doors open onto terrace & pool.
