well worth a visit to this impressive building which is now an art gallery. Opening times are random so you may need to sit outside in one of the little bars to wait- but this is also a nice way to spend an hour.

Tony Cragg the Liverpudlian sculptor has an exhibition here at the moment. There are not a large number of sculptures but they are contemplative meaning that you can spend an hour here quite easily or go round in 10 minutes.
The plates giving the titles and materials are brass plates on the floor near each of the pieces but are very easy to miss.

Lovely old building near the sea front. It was a mercantile exchange in days gone by but now houses exhibitions. Entry is free.

Lots of bistros bars and restaurants around the adjacent square make this an ideal place to linger for an hour or two.
